- “There’s a lot of geometry in this house,” says Noemi Hallet, principal designer of Hallet and Kolar Interiors. From the chevron tile in the bar to the patterned ceiling in the living room, Noemi and Cindy Kolar bring a unique spin to classic black and white decorating in this handsome house.

Wow! I've never seen so many negative comments on a home tour video. Personally, I think the designers did a fantastic job! Any family would be lucky to live in this home! ❤
Love it all, especially the powder room and bar.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!❤❤
Love black and white homes.
The designers did a great job on this.
Love the big slabs...great look❤😂😅😊
The use of porcelain in the kitchen was really a wow statement. Thank you for the video and for all of the hard work.
Absolutely stunning. Love the breakfast nook!
Love the ceiling.
Cool house. Very urban vibe and I love the family room ceiling.
I'm a big fan of black in home design. As soon as my children left home, we connected each room with this color. But, I have to say that this home doesn't look like children live in it. With the exception of the playful entryway (love, love that black and white wallpaper!), it actually does look "precious."
Bravo on another incredible design project! 👏 I loved how you incorporated geometric patterns into every aspect of this house, from the tile in the bar to the ceiling in the living room. It's clear that your talent for design knows no limits!
Thank You For Sharing 💚💚💚💚Looks Beautiful!!!💚💚💚💚🦅🦅🦅🦅
I love everything about this 🥰🥰🥰
Wow. Amazing. Looks like somebody living there without children. Some urban bachelors, male. All this alcohol? But I think it is awesome and daring. Interesting art.
Entrance is very unpractical. Imagine this entrance in real life with shoes all over the floor.
Well Done ‼️
This one looks nice
wow I love this one
The layout is great. The materials are lovely. The designers emphasized this is a family of five and that the family room is the center of the house thus cannot understand how the designer would not have guided the client away from a glass installation to display alcohol. If this was the only place that one could house the alcohol, covered doors would have been a better selection. They could be changed out to glass when they became empty nesters.
Black and white is a classic combination. In this particular home the black dominates giving the place a masculine feel which is at odds with the designer’s emphasis of “family home”. Not sure what the dining room was aiming for but it makes no impression at all. The only thought process was to provide unity with chair repetition. Cool house for a cool couple.
So interesting in many ways. 🖤🖤
??? I think the children are lucky to live in such a beautiful home and some are living in such worse conditions.😢
Wow i love this pattern, i made some typical handmade with wide marker or japanese brush.☺
I ❤️ the whole design but the artwork looks like an after thought
The bar is mwah!! So cool! though I dont drink.
I prefer modern design, so I love this space. It's beautiful, however it doesn't feel like a family home. It may be the liquor store that's located in the seating area. The bar is fine, but having it on constant display is unfortunate.
Gorgeous home!
Well it’s not tones of neutrals, although the black does work as just that. It’s beautifully designed, and the pops of colour in the art and fabrics, and even in the whisky bottles, add lovely interest. Love it!
Ceiling looks like a mine field with holes/pot lights all over. Nobody is using potlights. It is 80is. Linear. Linear.
I always love a Gabriel Scott chandelier placement, but I feel like the Queen of Spain wallpaper is a bit overdone already? The extra wide wood doorways are my favorite!
Did you notice that all fireplaces they design are identical? Open shelves and that's it. Problem solved.
Love everything except the use of gold.❤
Love the design, but don’t think that the white tile in the foyer is practical.
The bar and the pouder room are great. The rest is too heavy for my taste.
oh good lord ... one is ESPECIALLY dense .. thank god the other woman was there. Nice to see they borrowed LOTS from England .. but won't admit it
🩷
Don't like the furniture black and white are my favorite colors love the foyer.
Woah this house looks like an office to me. Not a cosy family home at all! Personally not a fan of black and white anyway - too boring and reminds me of my dentist’s office. Waste of resources.
All grey, all white or all beige *IS* boring.
To each his own taste.
This is not a peaceful space at all
Black is definitely been overdone, its depressing.
That bar is horrific, sorry. I find that is is a lot going on everywhere with the geometric ceiling, the fireplace porcelain, that bar, the open shelving, the large amount of what looks like glossy black in the kitchen, and then that coffee table
Banket again. Really?
Not for me😮
It’s quite beautiful. Some lovely design elements. But overall, it feels constipated. No life, no spark, no real personality, very stiff and too controlled.
Too dark for a family
That kitchen doesn't look welcoming.
Too much black
