Happy New Year! I hope what I’m about to say doesn’t offend you, it is meant as a compliment. I enjoy watching your videos because you remind me of my grandmother. Let me explain…I just turned 60 so when I describe my grandmother, it’s at a time when thrifting wasn’t the thing to do. When I was a little girl, she and my grandfather would go garage selling and they dressed up. She worn a dress with heals, a pillbox hat and rhinestone pendants. Grandpa wore a suit and fedora. Grandma was an art teacher and she would use her finds to create art very similar to what you create. Like you, she collected rhinestone jewelry and she made a Christmas tree from bits and baubles that hung in their sunroom for years. She also created displays of her treasures. I always had fun seeing her new set ups when I visited. I thoroughly enjoy your clips and just smile as I see your creativity while remembering my grandma. I love the fact that your kids join you in your endeavors. As far as my favorite of your finds, it’s got to be the small vanity jar with the brush in the lid you recently found. I have never seen anything like that and now, I’m on a mission to try to find one of my own. Thank you for sharing your treasures. They may be tarnished but you make them sparkle!

The Victorian game pieces and the heart shaped mirror are my favorites! And the antique Christmas ribbon! My best treasures were found at an Estate sale of a mixed media artist this past year: unique rubber stamps, handmade papers, book binding supplies, vintage books and magazines, oh my! Like many others, I stop what I am doing to enjoy a “video visit “ from you!

I love your old linen collection the best. I thrifted a water color from the Jr Women's League. It shows a lake with birds flying over it from a higher view point like a hill so you are looking down on this scene. It is very well done. It was $35. 👍💕

I am drawn to your purses& mirrors..because they are something I like.Me,I love snow babies,& shawls, owels,& lighthouses, elephants ,Old jewlery..I don't collect it anymore? No room) same for Coca cola stuff for yrs.Bottles ,can't think..but I have a little wooden sign that says I collect it all! Hubby likes birds/ ducks, & turtles. My favorite of your finds are those etched glass mirrors especially that heart mirror...my favorites are my antique mirror is one of my favorites ...I go to this Methodist church every Saturday and Habitat for Humanity..my other favorite thrift store in a Victorian town near me closed up .. I love all the same things that you do, except for Halloween. This year I have really been into collecting vanity items. I have found some beautiful compacts, talc tins and hand mirrors. I also, have a pretty good collection of vintage purses. I even found a tapestry purse and a needlepoint purse that I can use. I love linens, too. I love the big mirror that you found on FB marketplace.

I would love to start wearing all of my clips or incorporating them into my outfits. I also adore that heart mirror! I love it all! P.S. that embroidery reminds me of the book I am currently reading, Hester. It's about a woman who can see colors and uses colorful embroidery as an outlet. I believe she is also accused of being a witch in Salem. Such a beautiful esthetic book!

I told her about seeing the Kate Spade dress and thinking of you and she says "and you didn't think of me?!" LOL, too funny. Bought the cabinet, very happy with it, getting ready to fix it up.
