Merrill is as clear eyed and level headed as they come for his age. He’s on board with the program, and he can HIT. He is not chasing as much inside stuff right now , way different from his start. He’s learning everything so fast and he’s athletic. Dude is so special

Not true. Manny did a take out slide and rolled up over the bag and Pedroia got spiked on the back of his calf. He even admitted it was his bad for being in that position for that long, he said that it could’ve happened at any point in his career, even as rookie. Second base has to wait til the very last second to receive it
