Calm and peaceful video, thank you so much.
You brought back some memories. My Mom passed away two years ago at the age of 95. She taught me how to preserve the bounty of my Dad’s garden. I remember bringing out the big box of plastic containers every Summer to fill with creamed corn, butterbeans, squash and cowpeas. We canned green beans and tomatoes. I also remember saving butter wrappers for greasing baking pans.

I have found if you use a salad spinner, it really helps in getting the water out of zucchini.
Great ideas there, Constance. Thankyou. I might put some zucchini in, in October here. And yes! Butter paper for greasing baking tins...my mum taught us to do that! 😊👍

Glad Milk Dude is doing ok. I have a stray that i got about a year ago in the house. Missy is the sweetest girl.
Then lately is another stray outside. I was not going to feed him but i am a sucker for the less fortunate. Now i hear the meows outside ready to be feed. Every time i go ouside, he is right under my feet.
I have a good size pond that is feed through hoses from up the mountain all year round. I have koi fish and a couple cat fish in there. As i am feeding them, that cat is rubbing against my leg. I guess i should name him.
It is the time of year for visitors at the pond - wild geese. It started out with 2 a year, but now there are 14. You just have to love mother nature and all the wild with it.
I bet that original 2 brought their youngun's back with them. I love geese, but they can be so mean!
@CosmopolitanCornbread That is what I thought, and over the years, there are new additions. Three years ago, a set laid eggs at the pond.
I have to be careful when they are around. Sometimes, they are hissing at me. One year, a little one got into one of the coop areas, and I was afraid one of the big ones was going to come over the fence. I had a stick with me just in case. 😆

Yes. I freeze shredded zucchini and it works beautifully. Happy to have this in the winter.

I got sick of Zuchini bread as a kid, but I'm thinking, why couldn't I make zucchini cake, instead of potato cakes. The Shredded Zucchini would be great for that
My gran used to make chocolate zucchini cake. Delicious!
@@bbrhody831 My sister had a terrific recipe for Chocolate Nut Zucchini Cake . If you peel the zucchini before you grate it , no one will see the tell tale green bits and it makes a moist , rich chocolate cake , that no one will know is made from a vegetable !!! ...Chocolate frosting didn't hurt , either !
