@@linearblockingtools4064 I see there are three shades of the CRE. I've been using 2050 for quite a few years but considering trying the CRE. I know you said it lays and sands better. I'm checking pricing between the two. Probably use the gray for the color that was picked.
1) VP2050 is DTM, so why are you using the DPLV first? 2) If you're skim coating the entire car with filler, why didn't you do that before the VP2050? Car looks beautiful BTW.
Dplv has far superior adhesion to bare metal as well as better corrosion protection. We put 2050 over it for build so we don’t burn through to metal when we start blocking

What determines whether you use the 2050 or CRE primers?
They’re virtually the same, we usually use 2050 at this stage then CRE after filler because cre921 is black
