Sitges Corpus Christi 2023 vs 2021 | Flower Festival in June

This year the Sitges Town Hall organized 2000 workers for the Copurs Sitges. Since it’s the first full sacale set up after the Covid, it attracted huge amount of visitors.
Sitges is a resort town about 35 kilometres southwest of Barcelona, in Spain, renowned worldwide for its Film Festival and Carnival. Located between the Garraf Massif and the sea, it is known for its beaches, nightspots, and historical sites.
The Corpus Christi of Sitges, which includes the celebration of the feast of Corpus Christi, is one of the traditional and popular festivals of Sitges. The main events are concentrated on Corpus Christi weekend, the Sunday after the Holy Trinity, and the highlight is the making of traditional flower carpets, with the participation of the population. In the evening, the procession of the Blessed Sacrament with the folk procession followed by the religious, will give meaning to the whole celebration by treading the carpeted streets.

Oh how I loved Sitges. A slice of paradise on earth. It's close to Barcelona city. The water is so blue, the views spectacular. I'll always carry memories of walking through the streets amongst the beautiful locals and tourists.
