Last week they played in the city I'm living.
While going to the bus stop to go to the concert I recogniced Paul just walking and seeing the city. I couldn't believe it, I called him and when he turned I told him "I'm going to see you later!"
He said "great!" with a smile and we continued walking. It was like being in the videoclip.

For many people like myself. Interpol is more than music. When a band truelly connects like Interpol does it means so much more about what they do. The delivery of what has been written conveys a message sometimes just what the listener feels. Interpol are true artist

Tonight’s a take a trip down memory lane kinda night with Interpol. So crazy how a band can capture so many moments of your life throughout the years. So many memories to so many of their songs.
I like how gracefully this band has matured. Both in in the artistry of their music, but also in the lyrical messages. Their first albums were full of outward anger and angst, and they've gone through this metamorphosis of self-awareness, it's nice.
What a beautiful tune, reminds me of why I fell in love with this band when I heard Obstacle 2 for the first time❤

This is the best beginning to a song I've heard in quite some days.
My best bro introduced me to Interpol pretty early in their careers. I am thankful for that. If not, I may have never found this nectar. Every lp owns its separate little niche. They jibe well as an outfit and NEVER disappoint, no matter their edge on a given lp. I adore their work

Glad you heard the same lyrics I did, as the online versions aren’t the same as these.
They don’t have the “spectral incentives”, and the later verse is different from “without begging YOUR pardon” and instead has “begging a pardon”.
Good song, probably my favorite off the album.
@firmamentbubbleboyaskstobe7076 I definitely got the lyrics from somewhere online. Lyrics are ALMOST ALWAYS wrong, except if it’s a short, easy-to-understand song, and even then, the people or person who regularly hacks me tries to sneak in as many deliberately wrong lyrics as possible.
I know this song says “spectral incentives,” but when I listen to music, I rarely pay attention to the lyrics, so I can’t speak on the rest of them.
This song is amazing. I’m so glad they decided to make it. Interpol songs can be pretty hit-or-miss for me, but I really like this one. My favorite song is Untitled, I don’t like the singles from the latest album, and other favorites of mine are Leif Erikson, Pace Is The Trick, Stella, and Specialist.
I wanted to send them a fan letter through snail mail since I’m hacked, but the times I’ve ordered stuff from them online, the stuff I received was pre-worn. I ordered two things a good length of time apart, and whoever wore both items was definitely the same person. There was a strong smell of B.O. in the pits. Really strange. At first I thought maybe I had gotten something similar to when an artist throws their sweat rag into the crowd, but I can tell from the smell that it’s not him, it’s someone random and kind of gross that happens to have blue eyes, lol. My hackers might be in a gang, I don’t know. But they have at least one person who lives in the same city as me. They’re probably jealous or friends of my sister and/or an ex since they hack all of my pictures and audio. I’ll never be able to get famous even though I have a really good voice (in my opinion). Even the pictures that I edit to look more like me get hacked and edited uglier every time I look at them. They start to look more and more like my sister and my fugliest ex. Dark scleras and all.
This song really hits home for me because for me, everything is and always has been wrong.
