If you like the guitar riffs on this one have a listen to the song "Cold seed" by Swedish band Tiamat. It's a 28 year old song from a different genre (metal), but you will recognise some similarity in the riffs and mood, I think, and you might find it an interesting experience too.

Every interpol song makes me feel every feeling all at once, I fell in love with them as a child when my dad got into them in the early-mid 2000's and the story hasn't ended

Interpol siempre, siempre me sorprende. La escuché el día de hoy cerca de las 3:30. La he repetido en 4 ocasiones y ya soy adicto. Aunque conozco canciones de cada uno de sus discos, no soy el gran fanático de Interpol, o almenos no lo era, hasta hoy. Con su voz, la manera nostálgica en que Paul siente las canciones, las guitarras creándome una dualidad de emociones, además llevándome por los recuerdos tristes pero gratificantes de mi alma, terminan de conquistarme. Es hora de escuchar una por una y con detenimiento sus melodías.

Gerardo Hernandez Carlos moved on and he seems realy snobby now. Made his money and got out. I felt the same way about wanting him back for the NYC show for the 15 year Bright lights release concert. After seeing his interview on CZcams behind the bass, now I see why he's gone...

Hace 2 años y medio tuve una relación en la cual me enamore inimaginablemente de una chica. Me pasaba días y noches escuchando a Radiohead, Interpol, The Smashing Pumpkins, Travis, Suede, Kasabian, The Killers, Grizzly Bear, U2, etc. En esencia mucho Rock alternativo e indie. Me perdí tanto en esas canciones y su amor por ella que el volver a escucharlas, aún después de algo de tiempo, me provoca una tremenda melancolía. Siento que las canciones las acompañe tanto de momentos con ella que a veces me dan ganas de romper en llanto cada que las vuelvo a escuchar.
Son bandas grandiosas con canciones maravillosas... Ella fue la que hacía que escucharlas fuera algo mágico a su lado. La extraño bastante...
