Personally, I think Valk sees how Fuse intentionally ignored the letter and is pissed at him. She KNOWS holding a grudge does nothing for anyone. She knows what it would look like to let a grudge cloud your judgment. She's now watching someone go down the same path, she's just not the great of a friend to Fuse and is just staying out of it.
Hope so because Valk character as she is now its trash she is just in the apx games to simp she even says it in one line they ruined her character they really need to do something with my girl valk

i imagine she probably grabbed it and is holding it for fuse when he's ready to forgive Maggie. On one hand, she would be mad that he's letting a grudge control him, but she would also understand why he is.
Maggie is a very interesting and misunderstood character who has gone through a lot with her dear friend and possible first love (Fuze) leaving Salvo to go to the Apex Games to seek his dream.

She shot at the civilians when fuse came to the games. Idc how heartfelt she is here, she shot at innocent people because she was mad he went to the games. The legends helped a lot that day thus all their dirty looks when they look at her. She is like a crazy psycho ex extremist

I always like Maggie, she was pure anarqui (anti-system) and the reason of her getting mad at Fuse was simply because she see him a traitor because he joins the Apex games that tecnicaly translate as "working for the cindicate" (the bad guys in the main story)
She’s mad because she wanted to keep him safe but instead hurt him more than anything

i think maggie is a bit understood, because octanes dad is just using her to cover up the real villain, so if the legends learn the truth it'll turn around, im very excited to see where lore takes us this season
These 2 share a close bond. A really close one. I'm shocked they aren't a couple. She doesn't hate him, but she's really pissed at him. Tough luck for Fuse.

its a fake heirloom. he has an inspect where he pulled a photo of himself, his sister, and Mystic. that's the real heirloom
imo Maggie has been portrayed as this over the top character, but really she is just misunderstood. She really did care about fuse and the freedom of their people. I mean if ur childhood friend just ups and leaves you and what you’ve apparently both been fighting for, you’d feel bitter about it too. Of course now Maggie just goes to a bit of an extreme, but it’s just like these characters to be like this. I didn’t see it as controlling, I just think it was like they’re very separate ways now, and that hurts her deeply. We don’t really know how fuse feels about all of this but I’m assuming he was also not to keen about leaving salvo but to him leaving salvo doesn’t equal to not being free so he doesn’t see it as betrayal or anything.

I dont think *Maggie* had any real romantic interest in *Fuse.*
But since the very beginning of the SFTO video, at the scene of their childhood, you can clearly see how she was all about the cause since always, while he was there just for the fun.
Probably he never said it to her, but she still fooled herself.

@@marciliojunior4919 she isn’t cruel tho, she very much cares about her people, she encourages people to live their lives how they see fit and not under the authoritarian boot of some larger organization, she’s only a “warlord” in the sense that she’s the leader of those who pursue her ideals of freedom, she isn’t the type of person to make others do what she wants unless it’s to fight for her ideals

I only slightly disagree. It doesn't appear that Fuse was unhappy helping Maggie.
Fuse is more of an adrenaline junkie in the vein of Rodney Dangerfield. He is happy to fight with Maggie, but he gets more of a high when he fights in front of a crowd of adoring fans.

this also kinda explains her still being mad at him in the Apex games, saying things like "not everyone changes sides as quickly as you". she basically doesnt want to be wrong. she wants to know she's right, even after everything.
her and fuse are refusing to let up and actually talk things out heart-to-heart. maggie cuz she's, well.. pretty selfish and self-righteous, meanwhile fuse already tried to and it cost him an arm.

that letter could have been a very good end to her story, if she was not to be added to games but respawn wants to be respawn so yeah... they added Maggie to the games 😑
