- It's crazy to think that I was literally still finding glitches and tricks for this video up until the day it was made. Have fun breaking this game even further with this plethora of knowledge I hand to you.

Practicing all of these glitches as a kid has to be at least 20% to blame for my failure in school lmao. the tutorials back then were basically left to interpretation with the video quality and lack of voice overs. appreciate you keeping this side of the game alive and well! I still hop on halo 2 once in a while to bounce on the multiplayer maps. forgot about a lot of the glitches shown in this video, but they shot back to me once I saw you perform them. sorry for the paragraph lol, stay well

its called the time travel glitch because your going to the previous, aka older, part of the level you were in (i remember that glitch the most it was probably the most popular at one point)
Johnson is such a badass, there can't be only one. Double Johnson isn't a glitch at all. It's a feature.
That one random marine up on the snowy mountains on The Covenant should always be there. Also, I have personally experienced double Arbiter on the same part of The Covenant, blew my mind!

The grav lift skip is the easy version. You can get a warthog past that gap if you drive full speed into that small gap and you should be able to get across. Problem is it isn't consistent
Didn't know that all I know is the Grav Lift thing was a feature not a glitch as it's apart of the Tsavo Highway 4 Player Co-op Legendary 4 Vehicles 1 Gap Achievement.
But getting the vehicle across without the Grav Lift is the Glitch sort of.

I’m happy to say that I know all these! It’s interesting how some glitches that used to happen on the 360 version very rarely pop up anymore and some are even more amplified. Like I haven’t seen somebody with two of Sergeant Johnson, or the Arbiter once on MCC but it actually used to happen pretty frequently back in the day. I get sad watching these videos sometimes because me and my friends were able to do the vast majority of glitches that are done today in runs and maybe I could’ve done something if I just stuck with it. It’s honestly crazy how often somebody finds something that I thought was just a one off glitch on the original version. I wonder how much if it was just hardware failures because I remember one glitch on the 360 where I loaded into the covenant and all of the enemy AI was just dead until I got into the first tower. When I tried to reload the mission, it did not happen again.

In Halo, in the third roundabout you can land above it and enemies won't spawn in the next section of the level.
Extremely useful for Halo MCC Steam Edition LASO Solo.

if i remember correctly the power drain jump works more consistently off host, so it kinda sucks for runs but it’s good for multiplayer

Bungie evolved these Hammer Jumps and Equipment Jumps into what We'll, Bubble and Shatter Skating in Destiny 2, idk if you guys have seen people do them but it's crazy.

Everytime I go back and play Halo 3 I'm in awe at how it's held up. It's insane how good this game still plays and looks. The fact this came out in 2007 is insane

You can also duplicate Johnson on the last level after he’s dead and punch him all the way to the Warthog run. Johnson lives in that alternate universe 😂
14:34 one thing I used to do often. (But haven’t been able to get right recently) is if you get the angle just right and get a good “running” (driving) start for a good distance.
You can just drive through/bounce over the gap in the burrier models at that brake in the bridge (without exiting your Warthog) the marines will just hop out cross than just on the other side they will mount up again (that’s if you’re warthog didn’t fall off that narrow girder and go down under the bridge, than you’d really have to walk. lol)
I was able to pull this off maybe once every fifth time playing the level.
It’s up there with CE and getting the warthog through the locked door towards the end of The Silent Cartographer level. (Most of the time I just get my hog jammed in the door and I can’t exit to end the level. lol. But the gunner sticks around after all the other marines vanish in the transition. (So I still try to get the warthog up to (but not into) the door to guard my exit. He doesn’t stop enemies from spawning down there with me, but he is much appreciated help for the stealth Elites topside) I just did this 2 or 3 months ago, and have been doing it for years.
Though if you or the gunner die, he won’t be there when you respawn or reload.

i remember theres another area on the covenant you can drive a ghost straight up the side of the play area and skip a lot of the mission, you could also fly a hornet underneath the final building and force it out of bounds, then if you land on the tower and jump off at the right point you would phase through the roof and land inside (where you get the iwhbyd skull)

The dumpster reminds me of the time I was playing with a friend over, and I found how to move the Elephants in the forge, like had them hanging in the air and flipped them over (finding the little easter egg there). We played with that way too long

Crazy that I know almost all of these (not that I can perform all of them well) despite never really doing any speed or challenge runs as a kid, maybe I played this game too much LMFAO
This is dope af, i knew about all of these but only know how to accurately do a few of these on a consistent basis (i.e ghost jumping and equipment jumping with mainly power drains), but i’d love to suggest that you go onto the custom game browser and try some ghost jump maps, sage of six paths is the easiest sequence map to perform, would love to see you try it!

I dont know how i did it but i was playing 4 player coop on the last mission. I think it was due to bad connection but i was able to carry a plasma rifle in both weapon slots when it shoudnt be possible
Yeah that's possible very tricky to do but you can have Dual Plasma Rifles and another Plasma Rifle although trickerer than Two Plasma Rifles In Primary and Secondary which I've done alot Solo and in 2 Player.

Have you heard about the glitch where if you stand botton mid, you can block 50% of the spawn points on the map! You should try it
I`ve once glitched the brute chieftain on the first mission - he was invincible and nothing could kill him, not even a kill barrier or backsmack. I can't recreate this glitch (I remember that the chieftain kicked air instead of Johnson during the cutscene and I knocked Johnson off the ledge when he was escaping). Anyway, I have one screenshot of that chieftain, sadly not a clip, coz that was about 12 years ago and I was too stupid to save it :(
