The concept of smart city in Jakarta is based on six pillars: Smart Governance, Smart People, Smart Living, Smart Mobility, Smart Economy, and Smart Environment. Smart city should be beneficial to the whole community so they can get a better life. With smart city, data is presented more transparently.
In addition, smart cities increase citizen participation such as creating data, applications, providing input, and provide criticism. So this city becomes a smart city because it involves its citizens, involving its government, its power, its money, and its space to make all life better.
