Well known on the West End stage -- just new to TV! But there's a lot of that in British entertainment. I think honestly used to be more still but state and local government funding for the arts and for repertory theater has been cut back there and that was a large part of the development process for actors -- it's how Andy Serkis got started, for example (at Lancaster's Duke's Theatre, which back then did eight original productions a year for several weeks each but now only does two or three due to the spending cuts over the years). Of course now there's a lot more money in TV and film than there used to be thanks to things like Internet streaming, so at least there's that.

Gotta give credit to the make-up artists and costume designers in Game of Thrones for really making her look far less beautiful than she actually is in her role as Septa Unella. The first time I saw her in GoT, I thought she was a man in drag.

I’m 40, and I wear very little makeup, if at all…but I ALWAYS have on bright lipstick, bc it keeps me from biting my lips. Also, it has the bonus of everyone being visually distracted by my mouth, so they’re kind of forced to acknowledge when I’m speaking. 🤣
Hannah steals every scene she is in. One of the most radiant and elegant actresses I've ever had the great joy of watching. She truly mesmerizes me every time.

Bill Lawrence is a genius, he did it with Scrubs, he's doing it even better with Ted Lasso. I'm a football fan, but that has nothing to do with why I love Ted Lasso. The show is perfect. The cast, the writing, the themes, everything.
Ted Lasso is great because footballs the backdrop, and not a crutch. It's about the people first and foremost.
I didn’t know he helped create it and that makes sense! I’ve been saying that this show is up there as my favorite next to Scrubs. It’s absolutely brilliant!

It took me a few seconds, but seeing her in TL I knew she looked familiar, then GOT memories kicked in.

Saw her in Spamalot on the London stage a few years ago. Boy can she sing, an amazing voice.

First season was more about Ted and everything that he’s experiencing in this new world of his!
The new season is all about relationships and peoples feelings and really everything that I don’t care about!
I don’t know if you saw the spoof video they did 10 years ago about Ted Lasso and that’s where they got the idea about the show. It was eight minutes or so of just him being a head coach on one of the biggest teams and him knowing nothing and it was super funny and they decided to do a show about it years later just for fun and that’s what this first season was all about just like the spoof video! I know girls that watch the show and they love it and even my girlfriend thinks it’s a girl show now!
Look up the 10 minute funny video they did 10 years ago you’ll love it!

I will say I did watch the last episode they just did and it was all about Ted’s right hand man and something he goes through. I would say that’s the best episode of season two hands-down!
Because it had nothing to do with all the stuff that’s going on on the show, it was just something completely separate and it was awesome!

Ted Lasso was the perfect show to debut during those early horrific days of the pandemic in 2020.
The fact that she plays such a cold and detached character like Rebecca Whelton and she's the opposite in real life is everything to me! Such a great actress!! Hope she wins the Emmy.
She's only like that in season 1. In season 2 her character arc changes to her becoming an extremely likeable and intoxicating character.

She, like most of that show's stellar cast, are not only fine artists, but appear to be people you would want to have a drink or dinner with.
