Select Plant - tower crane climbing process

Have you ever wondered how tower cranes achieve such great heights or how we get them down again?
For many years Select Plant Hire has had a hand in delivering the tallest buildings in the UK, The Shard, The Leadenhall Building and Heron Tower to name a few. As the buildings go up the crane needs to move to heights higher than the structure to enable them to service the top.
This video shows how our cranes adapt to the highest of heights as projects progress.
