I'm a tower crane apprentice right now in Canada and the cranes we use in my company are nothing compared to this we can only climb one or two floors at a time, I can't wait to be on a liebherr some day

The only way to dismantle this kind of crane is to get a larger crane and dismantle it from top to bottom: czcams.com/video/q99VrNsEHII/video.html There are larger ones tho, that are able to basically lift their own parts and place then beneath the actual power house and fix them there : czcams.com/video/vx5Qt7_ECEE/video.html

They call a very large crawler crane or road crane to take the tower crane down. It's pretty common in my city. It looks really scary but the contractor is quite used to doing it.

Wow! The crane never actually gets taller it just continually changes it’s base. 💪

not possible to use a small crane on top of building if it has structured place to hold it (Like 2nd elevator shaft)?
