Bassem speaks the truth and nothing but. This interviewer tried his best to get Bassem to pick Biden over Trump, but Bassem's response was absolutely perfect and matches my own perspective. If Biden and the Dems want my support they need to earn it by doing the right things. If they refuse to do the right things, it's not the voter's fault for flipping them the bird. Also, that doesn't mean people are going to run to Trump. We have other options, including not voting at all. In a system as corrupt as ours, I don't blame anyone for choosing not to participate.

Both Trump and Biden support Israel.
The difference is, Trump will not support Ukraine, and there is atleast a chance to convince Biden to do something about Gaza.

What I can't wrap my head around, is how anybody in a situation, where factually the only choice on the ballot this year is between Biden and Trump, can claim to be pro Palestine, but against Biden. Trumpler is the guy who would famously like to "solve" hurricanes with nukes, and who has to feed a voter base that is at least as much anti-muslim as it is anti-semitic. What do you think would happen if he takes back the WH over the otherwise understandable dissent over Gaza? Every non-vote or 3rd-party-vote or whatever you believe what your options are, benefits Trump due to the US' weird voting system.

I am a relatively conservative person. I don’t understand how anyone could think Bassem Youssef A did not earn his audience by being a great comedian and B some how he took a job from an American.
Bassem Youssef is a comedian with global appeal. First of all no American is entitled to a career in comedy lol and second, how could they be entitled to a global audience!
Besides Bassem’s audience in America probably wouldn’t like this imagined conservative comedian.
I’m not saying this to rebuke the interviewer, as much as to agree with him and saying such opinions are nonsense.
I don’t even like calling Bassem the Egyptian Jon Stewart because his comedy style is very much his own. So he hosts a popular, scathing talk show like Jon, I just don’t want to diminish his accomplishments.

I have been a US citizen , originally from Iraq since 2001 but I never voted. I don’t like either parties and sad to say they all care first about themselves then their party never the people.

Classic left wing politics - the militant, labour union, striking, picketing variety - has long since died. The result of a 75 year war against communism and an even longer war against socialism. What exists are wishy-washy virtue signalling, politically correct, holier-than-thou 'progressives' ('liberals' for those who aren't British) who would rather argue over gender issues rather than much more important things like class struggle and workers rights.

We are not a democracy, really. Compared to most European countries we are not even close to a democracy-- we are an oligarchic slaver's-republic where the plantation has been replaced by the corporation but fundamentally nothing has changed and we are operating with a system that is not fit for the 21st century even BEFORE you get the added evil of the 2-party duopology which is an extra-constitutional parasite that has corrupted governance and the expression of the popular will every bit as much as the 1-party system of the USSR or China-- just in a way that dupes more people into *feeling* like they have some kind of choice.

As an Irish-American I can only add to the critique of Biden, who's of Irish descent; most are well aware of the word "famine" & the horrors of the late 1840s in Ireland being past down. He's right to cast aspersions on Biden's supposed morality & values. "Famine" was cited early on ~ in an Irish accent ~ when Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh gave her brief at the Hague.
