This SONA looked and sounded like it's been memorized and rehearsed but he failed to deliver it adequately. He is mumbling. Many English words are hard to understand. He tries to make jokes and eyebrow raising statements and incoherent English sentences. They all sounded so cheap. I liked what I heard and as a recent convert, look forward to the sweeping changes he proposes. He is a simple man who speaks from the heart. It was never enough that we only spoke of the poor and marginalized as if talking about them would make their problems go away. I believe Rodrigo Duterte, in doing whatever it takes to address the country's issues on drugs, corruption and needs of the poor, will make a positive impact in the direction of our country and how future administrations will practice good governance. he's speech is just like an ordinary conversation because no pressure on his part not just like noong nkaraang administration. ordinary yet strong & genuine to his words. tagos sa laman at buto. i can't feel a president image talking, but a father & friend figure gived an advise & instructions to his children.

Duterte is better off without a teleprompter. The words of his speech are well delivered and resonated better without the apparatus. He looks stiff when reading but when in impromptu, one can feel the intent of his words which in my experience reach out to the bottom marrow of my bones and spirit. The good thing about him is his way of promoting awareness that insinuates a real and truthful perspectives for the Filipinos to know and think about. I am very proud of having a president like him and can shout to the world AT LAST WE HAVE A GOOD LEADER WHO CARED SO MUCH FOR OUR WELFARE.
