EXPLORING KINNECTION by Zouk Dance Academy

"EXPLORING KINNECTION" is an 8-hr immersion program that helps individuals explore the topics of consent, touch and connection through movement, with other individuals. Keeping the unique sensitivities of each individual in mind, in the context of a conservative Asian culture, the program aims to introduce participants to the experience of deep human-to-human connection, through music and movement; but always in a way that is gentle and consent-based.
We discovered the magic of co-creation and connection through the partner dance of Brazilian Zouk. But the lessons we learned from this dance can be applied to areas of our life beyond the dance itself. This is not a dance lesson; it is a immersion program to explore how we can experience deep, non-judgmental, and safe connection to other humans; all without words.
