- Our frame fork kit is one of a kind, a miniature version set of frame forks based on the bigger trucks that use frame forks to tow their vehicles. DWS is the first company to offer a light-duty frame fork kit for its light-duty customers...This kit has many advantages to offer like...
- Towing a pickup truck from the hitch as we see here.
- How about this scenario, you get a call from the customer but they failed to mention the vehicle has no rim and tires. Now you have a chance to secure the front of the vehicle to your crossbar and dolly the back.
- Or what if a cylinder, hose, switch, fail in the middle of getting ready to tow? Or anything else that life has to offer... you still have an opportunity to secure that vehicle and continue on with your tow...you do not have to turn around and get another truck!. You can see here that, different scenarios and different vehicles are easily accommodated ...like this trailer! The hitch broke and the operator was able to complete the tow by forking the frame of the trailer.

Awesome frame fork kit for the wheel lift
😎👍
🥇🏆
Usually, most Repo trucks can’t even tow a Ford Excursion because of its weight

Considering how many receiver hitches I've seen that were rusted out and falling off.... the last thing I would do is tow from a receiver. How is this possibly easier than using a wheel lift? If you are going to use frame forks... go to the "frame" or something structural... i.e. leaf springs, axle etc.
Preach! Unless I thoroughly inspected the hitch and the frame assuming it was clean enough to do so I ain't that brave. We'd drag 'em around the yard with a hitch ball adapter by the hitch but the yard ain't the highway. Neat forks though.
That’s probably a reason for adding tow straps or chains to the frame,( or springs), and just like anything else we do ; always look at what your hooking to. Every tow is different, every tool has to be used correctly and under the right conditions. To me it’s a good option.
Thanks 🙏 for the comment we appreciated it!
That is not the proper way the second set of forks he did not have it fully seated in the throat he tipped loaded the fork and that is wrong the load must be all the way into throat
Thanks for the comment! We appreciate ya! 😎😎😎😎

@@detroitwrecker the 2.0s are seriously beastly, not a customer unfortunately just a fan. And an American making things in America 🇺🇸
Some modern cars only have their Radiator exposed next to a plastic cover. No way would this device lift it from that area unless damage occurs. There still needs to be a universal towing kit, One size fits all (Small and Large vehicles)
Thanks 🙏 for the comment! Definitely shouldn’t use frame forks on plastic cars 🚗 agreed.

If what your grabbing isn't fully seated in the frame Forks then it's not secure this video is inaccurate
Well… Thanks for the comment though.
