That first game on mobile was my favorite on this list... and sadly, it’s no longer available. Terrible state of gaming when games have no way to be played ever again.
I don’t know why there isn’t a He-Man game like Transformers Devastation. We need that to happen badly.
I would like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Unreal Engine, or High-moon to make a T or M rated MOTU video game. The graphics, character designs, the story and action sequences have to be top notch. They use the recent DC comics as a template for the story. You got a money maker on your hands.
It's a shame that best looking He Man game on this list is the fan made He Man & She Ra Openbor game.

Fully agree. But unfortunately this fanmade game is quite unplayable. I've just played it some days ago. It's more like a tech demo but the gameplay is very uncomplete and doesn't make any sense (no story at all, you can play as any character (good/ bad doesn't matter), if you die it has no consequences, some levels are broken and so on). It's a pity that this game is not developed further. Would be the perfect He-Man game if they would add some story and gameplay.
Yeah, but its damn nice. Any of the games that utilizes the shows original sounds is great. Wish I could find the sounds to Dl tbh.

I played PS2 & iOS 2012 games. Despite what the bad public reactions for the PS2 game, it was really awesome game.

Toy soldiers was fun. I enjoyed playing He-Man and his ultimate attack was awesome but it was the hardest to build up from the other heroes.

That 2009 looks best! I've never seen any of these before but there should be a Street Fighter style game with all of pop cultures heros and villains and their specific areans. I've dreamed up that for about 20 years now!

I have he-man on the Atari 2600. At the time in 1983 I couldn't wait for that game.
But over time it became very limited due to the game play and graphics.
I played Masters of the Universe: The Arcade Game in my Commodore 64, those were the days, it was very difficult. I think the demo you played came from the ZX Spectrum or Specky (please, feel free to correct my grammar if you are from the UK)
I play the ios version, of ,"the masters of the universe, the most powerful game in the universe" and indeed, it was powerful
Toy soldiers: war chest particularly the hall of fame edition was... ok if you're playing for the nostalgia and if you're a fan of war turrets games, but the graphics were not up to date for the consoles, and don't get me started on the match loading times as it took about a minute or so just to get a game started. Don't get me wrong once you get pass all that it can be an enjoyable game, playing as He-man was always fun.
When you remember that He-man never used his sword to kill an ennemy (and never killed either) in the original anime, which of those game is the most accurate ?
The only He-Man game I played as a kid was a self-written mod of an existing He-Man game by a close acquaintance of mine back in the late 80s, that had math questions to be solved instead of fighting. I didn't saw that game here in that list, so I assume you missed it out. I think it was on the Commodore or maybe Amiga. I don't think he wrote the whole game, even though he was a hobby programmer back then.

let's not fool ourselves please. Till now, the best MOTU game is the ps2 one (the second place goes to the Ios one). Masters of the universe deserves a game in The Witcher style.

A He-Man game that one can play as Lion-o. Well, it should be called *Masters of The Fan Service* instead.
The Toy Soldier thing was the first Game that looked somewhat adaequate. The rest looked like dark crap.
Almost forty years of being around all we got was crap games :/ you would think we would have got one good game out of all of them :/ why didn't we ever get a Nintendo or Sega boot of he-man?
