The painting looks good one thing I have learned by watching theses videos is Alex shows us that nothing is impossible . This is why I love this channel he is so genuine about everything he does even when he makes mistakes shows us that it is human to make mistakes and learn to bounce back and become good at everything you try.

Alex always amazes by his readiness to take on all sorts of different projects with such enthusiasm - a great example to the young. And he could not have had a better tutor in this endeavour.
I was a professional potter for over 45 years, now I’m retired and last year I started painting, I love it! It is never to late to learn something new!

Alex is simply the best example of a beautiful human being. He is so transparent and loving in all that he does, and the outcome of his experiences for me, is less important than his willingness to undertake a challenge, with humility and an open mind and heart, and take us along for the journey. Clearly Nial is a very accomplished Artist and has a lifetime of experience. Practice is the best teacher. Nials work is really good. He has such a 'whispy' [wispy with a whip] influence in his works.
Like his father I have a fondness for the old masters. I studied them my entire life as well.
I've been painting since I was a small child, in all mediums. AND every time I start a new art project, I still get that excitement rush, as I did with the first one.
When I paint, I love doing ducks, swans, birds/fowl, ponds, waters, and most any kind of landscape. I will venture into many other types of arts as well. It expands us as individuals. The more we try, the more influenced we are with life's gifts given us. We really are a spoiled lot!
There is this very famous quote:

I actually like your painting more than Nials to be honest, Alex. I like your mist better because it looks more fluffy to me. I don't paint much, but I do art, and it's very interesting watching you learn about it and relating to your thoughts about art. Very cool video, 10/10 narration. Keep it up!

Im working my way through your videos Alex and firstly I wanted to say Im really enjoying them. I am so impressed by your painting. When i was a lot younger I could draw Disney characters from a comic but that never seemed to help me when I did art at school. So I have always told myself I cant draw and therefore, cant paint, but having watched you and Nial I feel I could at least give it a try - thank you

you did fine Alex. it looks beautiful and perhaps your next painting project can happen in the wilderness at a little creek or on a hill side with a sun rise or sun set in the background. I'd love to see you create a live painted painting in a calm open space where you can let your emotions flow on to the canvas.

Love Nial's story, and his sky paintings are amazing. Reminds me of Turner. He is a great teacher and I'm glad you showed interest in this and your co fidence will grow the more you try it (I prefer acrylic, just because I'm impatient to wait for oils to dry, but the processes are similar).

I'm an artist and my first watercolor teacher in college mentioned "The fear of the great white page". So he had us by some inexpensive paints, brushes and big sheets of paper. The assignment was to do something big, playing with the paint. I really liked him, a great teacher! Also, he bought my first painting! The challenge with watercolor is there is no white paint. If you want white in the painting, you have to avoid putting any color there. It's not easy!
