    Honesty - Quality - Craftsmanship
My approach is a little different than most I would rather turn down a job, than lose a relationship….
With over 25 years experience in every aspect of the automotive industry from collision, street rod, restoration, to paint and everything in between. I have seen what works and what doesn’t work….
I have a formula that I follow that is fair and honest for the client and myself, and I do not deviate.
Guzzi Fabrication is a specialty / custom shop, NOT a body shop...
I do not give QUOTES ...... but I will provide an estimate range AFTER vehicle assessment
First and foremost is quality and I take on jobs that quality and craftsmanship are at the forefront, placing a high expectation on the finished project and my ability.
Classic/custom vehicles are full of surprises by their very nature. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that scope and related costs will evolve as the project progresses. Custom work at this level requires thoughtful planning, meticulous attention to detail, and precise execution. For these reasons, I cannot and do not provide QUOTES.
Clients can count on straightforward and frequent communication throughout the project as well as the ability to view real time progress on their project by following project progress on my CZcams channel.
How We Work : Shop labor rate is $ 70.00 Hr. + parts + materials.
Step 1: Assess vehicle, due diligence on parts availability, scheduling, form a plan of action and set an expected start/finish date.
EXAMPLE : Full restoration / Structural metal work
    1. Completely disassemble
    2. Bag and label parts create replacement parts list
    3. Install body onto rotisserie
    4. Media blast body / parts
    5. Assess repairs make plan of action
    6. Install body onto frame fixture for repairs
I accept an agreed on deposit to start every job.
I bill every 2 weeks or upon an agreed payment schedule set up before job commencement.
Then I follow the plan of action to completion

Nice quality work! I wish your shop would have restored my Impala... the shop I used did all of the work on the Impala as fast and cheap as they could, but I paid 1/2 up front and was stuck with them... just happy to see someone taking time to do the work right. Good job.

Hi Robert I love your videos on the 1964 Impala SS restoration , one question you didn’t show how to located the seat brackets when you welded them to the new floor. Let me know that trick

These are the videos I’ve been waiting for. ✊✊ Did the existing car not have the floor shifter? I saved everything but the dang floor seat brackets. I cut them like a dummy when removing the floor pans 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ beginners mistake for sure. Luckily they reproduce them.

Very nice videos, automatically subscribed great channel. I bought the full floor pan with braces but I notice yours is without the inner rockers. Did you remove them off the new one or was it purchased that way? Thanks

If I remember correctly, the inner/outer rockers were in really good shape, and I avoided extra work and used them. Hey thanks for the sub !!

I’ll be interested in what you do with the Impala lettering in the quarters. When I did mine, I cut out the lettering section from the old quarter and patched it into the new quarter. I could not think of a way to cut square holes for the letters to fit into.

Great video. When do you use weld through primer vs POR?

    • @guzzifabrication3448
      @guzzifabrication3448  Před rokem

Weld through primer usually on seams, small areas, or spot welding ( it's $50. for a regular size spray can....... so use sparingly......) but since I had the inside of the rockers to coat also, I went with the POR15. Thanks for watching !

  • @rescuedandrestoredgarage
