- I snipe Wumbo a lot on his stream, specifically on Swap mode. Here's one of those sets out of many that I played against him. Who Knows? I might not even get completely steamrolled!

@@sweetoil2952 A little late, but yes, Wumbo tends to delete footage of him losing. I assume it’s to keep up his “rep” of being “unbeatable.” In fact, I believe Wumbo blocked Schoell after this match.

I think swap is a great Mode: In Puyo you actually get to build chains, and in Tetris you can’t just die to a (lucky) 5-6-Chain
To clarify what I mean: The reasons why Tetris vs Puyo don’t work are non existent

(There was more to the conversation than that but I can't find the stream, I think S2 said something about four wides being a tactic that newbie players use just to keep up, just thought it was funny after seeing everyone talk about Wumbo's four wide stuff.)
I remember Doremy hating 4 wides (or at least people stacking them slowly) and even Wumbo mentioning it once in the stream chat. Doremy does use them in Tetris 99 but I can't think of another case they had used them.

I’ve sniped him a few times, won a few sets, lost a few sets, it was a fun time.
Personally I always thought that his Puyo was always fairly good all things considered, but since his content now points out his puyo ability more prominently, people are starting to realise that he actually can play the game pretty decently lol

What does C4W mean?
Center 4-Wide, otherwise it’s the combo build Wumbo likes to use a lot.
I'm not entirely sure why C4W is considered taboo to the Puyo Puyo Tetris community (I don't really play, but it's fun to watch videos). I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's like having a friendly match in SSBM but then someone switches to Marth or Fox and goes ham after losing once.
I think a better comparison would be Smash 4 honestly if you’re familiar with that and like swapping to Bayonetta after losing once in friendlies.
People do not like playing again 4Wide in any capacity and in PPT especially it is generally seen as an over centralising strategy.
I don’t mind fighting it as much as a lot of other people do, but 4W is pretty looked down upon generally.
