- + Josh Smith, Kirk ++, Keep the Blues Alive! Buy or stream Blues Deluxe Volume 2! Trivia, there is an absolute legend on the Leslie Organ! Who is it? Add to the comments. Also props to the ladies as they both added epic atmosphere, energy, and an amazing solo (not featured in this video). Be sure to listen to Joe’s latest Album Blues Deluxe volume 2. Joe had toured through my city for years and this was my very first Joe Bonamassa concert so I had to do it up big Will style Front Row. Totally worth it.
I did get a bit excited when Joe asked us to stand up and I did step inside the L’Acoustic PA array so it’s stage volume after that, which is why Joe’s voice is not as audible.
Fully functional classic guitars and amps and one amazing remake from the Gibson classic shop, I believe the name is Amos II! - Hudba
What’s he playing there? It’s not an SG. Is it a a Yamaha?
It’s a Zemaitis. He goes over it at 53 minutes in this video czcams.com/video/xcqG4Zun22Y/video.htmlsi=QeV7-cGCW3onPHo9
Zemaitis guitar with old gibson paf pickups.he changed them.
Actually, that makes sense for him.
Be sure to be Joe’s latest Album Blues Deluxe volume 2. shop.jbonamassa.com/collections/blues-deluxe-vol-2#_gl=1*1uubzti*_gcl_au*OTA3MzIxOTk2LjE3MDAxMTAzMzQ.
Zemaitiss guitar
I was front row stage left at the Hampton Casino Ballroom. I was surprised when seeing him really up close at how small his hands are and he is not as tall as I had in visioned him. He is a dynamite performer/artist! Nice eye candy, too! since that time I have had the grate good fortune to have seen him many times since then. I love you, Joe. I have all his CDs
Big fan of Joe and the band, Josh and Reese are just badass👏
Front row, back row or up in the gods he is worth it all day long .Top Class guitarist with a great band 👍❤️
💯💯💯💙🎸🎶🎤❤️
Oh yes!!!! I am going to every concert I can get to!!! I love Joe and Co!!! So blessed to be Living in The Time of Joe!!!! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽

Shows everyone how real he is. So masterfully talented
Truly a gigantic talent
I've been in the front row at Joe's concerts several times at Shank Hall in Milwaukee, WI. $10 general admission, we'd be the first in line. October 2003. Joe would even be outside with us smoking a cigar. I recall one show he did in Middleton, WI where I helped him bring in his guitars and helped Kenny with his drums. Before the show Joe sat down with us for a drink. Always and forever on the Joe Bonamassa Street Team.
My friend Joe being true to himself. Thanks for your dedication.
Probablement le meilleur il tire de sa guitare une voix avec laquelle il converse tout au long de ses concerts
Love this!!!! Thank you so much! I love Joe & Co and having seen and heard some rockin trailblazers, Joe is a spiritual Master inhabiting a mere mortal form! What a blessing to be Living in The Time of Joe!!!! Cannot get enough! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽
Saw Joe 3 times and every time was a fantastic show.
Absolutely love this band ❤ everyone together ❤...Keeping the good times going 👍. Thank you 😊
Agree! Always worth the price and more! Appreciate the share!!!
Absolutely!❤
josh smith^s solo at min 4 is incredible!
Ok, I have chills and it isn't from the cold weather!❤
Same!! 😂🎉
IWOW!! think Joe is getting even better! ...as if that was even possible. 🤘☮
He is definitely getting better. The musician he is today is totally different than the past and both are great BTW ❤
I know right??????!
This interplay of question and answer, together. Tones upon tones expressed and played precisely. a really great performance. Joe's solo with the very effective theremin is excellent
🔥🎸🎸🎶🎶🎶🎆🎑🎤🥁🥁🥁💥
I sucked as a kid u suck now
Real musicians, real talent, hard earned skill, no bullshit.
An Amp and a guitar🎉
Like in the day!!!! No fake music or talent, legit badass guitar!!!
Love this man’s . Music . Surprise At people don’t know him . Yet Souhern states . I advertise his everything .willington nc ,football game wearing his shirt hoodie, and playing his verity of guitars.
Awesome..... thank you ! 😎🤩
Joe you and your guitar make my day. Awesome listen to that crowd
Yes worth the price! Thanks for sharing!
I saw him from the front row on 11-5-23 in Okc … definitely worth the price 😎
Me and the guy who posted this vid bought our seats on concert day for 180 bux plus tax. STEAL Price
My daughter’s swim club got me 600 last month. 500 on myself every now and then is the way 😂
seen him 11-01-23 in Fayettville Ark.
He’s playing feb21 Corelli in Youngstown, let’s go. Front row
Great stuff, amazing how JB can rearrange, rewrite and make his own music sound so incredible. JB’s concerts never disappoint at any price. I kinda blackmailed my best friend North Carolina by buying him a ticket to see JB if he’d make the trip to visit my wife and I, in Southern Montana, needless to say he did, we drove 10 hrs., over 600 miles one way for third row floor tickets to see Joe play in Yakima Washington on Memorial Day weekend 2023 (plus my 64th birthday)….Great concert, Best birthday ever with my wonderful wife (my bestest friend), other best friend Steve who turned me on to Joe B. with “Mountain Time”, my most favorite song, oh by the way….this was Steve’s first live concert….great memories,
Thanks Joe….keep rockin’ Us….
Took me like five years to see myself in person.
A happy birthday indeed!
Thanks for sharing!
It is awesome ❤
two world class guitar players ....love Joe and Josh!
Josh playing rhythm, flipping amazing!!
Josh with that 0.13 strings... mental!!!
Anyone with 13's....nutso. LOLOL I can't even bending the high E string well with 13's.
So amazing soul you are JOE❤ and Josh💙 and other band🥰
Good to see great guitar players in the bonamassa gig like kirk or josh
Truly, you make the best comment here 🎉❤!
3rd row coming up for me in March! Hard to wait but this helps! Thanks!
Orlando?????
Que Grande Bonamassa y su banda!! Estamos en el Sur en Uruguay esperando Maestro!
He is The Bona-Maestro!!!! Jesus and Joe are all i need!!! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽
Anoche tuve el placer de ir a ver al maestro Billy Gibbons.
En Montevideo. Así que ya ves Joe, no es tan dificil
SO AMAZING
I seen him numerous times, nov 8 most recently. Killer show
Amazing ! 🎸♥️
He really blew the front row away. 💙🎸🎶🎤
The sounds too me me away for sure ❤
I am he did Wish I was there
Joe never disappoints 💙🎸🎶🎤❤️
magic joe and band
Yes amazing.
Two great guitarist on that stage. Now that Josh is playing in the big leagues I hope he doesn’t loose his playing style. He is so good at what he plays and the way he plays it. Joe has a totally different style. Anyways, great to see them on the same stage.
Josh is the music director of the band. He's an amazing and gifted player who knows a ton about everything music. He will get better and better. Joe relies very heavily on Josh for direction and how songs should be played. Watch a few of the most recent interviews with Joe. He's ecstatic to have Josh in his crew.
UNBELIEVABLE
7:03-9:08 Absolutley incredible. That part really hits hard and I felt it. There is still love in the world, when you hear this. Thanks Joe and thanks for posting!
Stunning, so melodic.
Jesus and Joe & Co can save this world!!! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽
Wowwwww mind blowing
My mind was definitely taken to a new level in the front row seeing that playing live and up close.
Just Plain Awesome
My sentiments exactly
Great video and show. You were just a few seats down from us!
Best show for sure. 🎉
wow. great.
Grande musicista. Lo amo❤❤❤❤❤idem x gli altri. La regia è sua però ❤
DAMN it's good !
Hell yeah!
I was 2nd row Montreal Forum for Led Zeppelin. $7.50!! That was worth it.
That’s about 60 dollars in today’s money, but now they do surge pricing plus fees. Concerts are definitely a luxury item now unless going to small venues.
Awesome
Another incredible performance from Joe-is there any other?
This is the first Bonamassa show I’ve seen live. I do love the Ballad of John Henry live performances.
Seen him Nov. 1st best concert ever
Darn straight! 😅
Haven't any of you picked up on Joe playing his tribute to "Snowy White" and his band the "White Flames" playing 'Snowy White's ..'Bird of Paradise' and Snowy's White's 'This is my Blues'! Enjoy its a great tribute.❤
Not yet! But now I have google work to do! Ahaha 🤣
Always VIP ❤️
🔥🔥🔥🔥😊
I was a couple rows behind you dead center!! Badass!!!
That’s crazy, best live shoe I ever saw here. L’Acoustic PA system array rocked it too… I’m so sorry I stepped inside it about mid way through but then at that point you hear stage volume only from the real amps mostly so that is super cool and maybe justifies my mistake!
@@CaseJamsSeeing Joe & Co ruined me! I have been to a lot of concerts in my day (think George Harrison & Ravi Shankar, Cal Jam ‘74, EVH garage band, Ted Nugent in a high school auditorium, etc) but NOTHING compares to the Bona-Maestro and his hand-picked band members that are legit artists in their own right! Pure raw talent that cannot keep me in my seat! Orlando, March 15th!!!! KTBA 2025!
That concert is coming up soon!
Whatever he’s playing. Joe has competition 😅
I know which one of those girl backing singers i would take on tour with me, clue, has a great smile, looks like she's enjoying herself
I find it very cool Joe tends to toss in lines from Rory Gallagher on some songs & here he takes some riffs from Jimi just to see if anyones paying attention . On Rory he does some riffs at the Red Rocks show when he plays John Henry & here he does some Hendrix in the first tune . The man has lots of class even a bit of LZ in there . . Great band & i'm not sure whos the lucky one here Joe or Josh as they both are so good it's almost scary & I've been playing since the 60s . Joe has such a awesome collection of guitars at first i thought that may have been a Yamaha SG200 but one look at the headstock & that Z i knew it was a Zematis but not the one you see Ron Wood play , Zementis makes several models but it's weird to see one with a double cutaway so i take it it was made for him by them or it's pretty rare even though they are not old guitars & he found this one on one of his fun journeys to the music stores. . This one most likely mid 70s but that's just my guess & I've seen this as an acoustic version as well. Some searching would give me the answer but i fell lazy so my guess is close enough for me . Anyone that knows more about this ax please say something & enlighten me as there's always some bit of history behind most instruments .
My fav is ballad of John Henry. I will have to read your comment like 3 times to absorb 10 percent of your knowledge. Respect!
Al😉ha from Hawaii 🤙
My last visit was to Kauai in 2001! Long flight! Aloha! 🎉❤
Where was this filmed? I have lots of mezzanine footage from Detroit on my channel for anyone looking for a different perspective! Thanks in advance for checking THAT out!
Houston Sugarland with L’Acoustic in house PA I leaned.
You must have been right beside me on in front of me, Garland Texas, November
It was Houston at Smart Financial Center
Can, great stuff. Front row at a JB show had to cost a fortune these days. Last time I saw him was pre shutdown and 11th row left center stage were 175. I saw them last time he was here and they were $500 plus. YIKES
I paid $285 for front row seats at The Majestic in SA in Oct '21. $250 for mezz seats at this show. Price of the brick going up.
It was a crisp 2 hours but 10k views tell me it was worth the price. I held the phone above my head so I experienced it all directly with my own eyes vs watching a stupid phone screen. I wish the encore was longer but they were playing San Antonio the next night. Touring is a grind. But Joe was feeling this concert for sure. I can tell when he took the glasses off!
@@CaseJams That sounds like an amazing time. I totally got you with the phone held over your head. When we go to shows and i see people watching the entire show through a tiny phone screen, it's like wtf? LOL Cheers
I paid 4.50 cents to see the original Allman Brothers & 3.50 to see them at American University in MD back in 1970 , man tickets today are outrageous & for a two hour show ,hell the Allmans would play for hours for next to no money ticket wise . Boy have times changed & not for the better.
@@paullevine1813 Paul, oh man you gotta be right near my age bro. Those ticket prices were the way it was when I was a kid of 14 to 16. I miss those days
Check my uploads of 3 clips of his gigs!!! Orlando next! ❤
Hope it was good 👍
He was great!!!! I get the best seat I can afford…he is worth every dollar!!! Jesus and Joe are all I need, baby!!!! Saw him in Tulsa, Nov. 8th…fantastic as always!
love to know what tuning he is in
Hello Joe
bro that theremin on some goddamn wizard shit how he liftin his hand like that at 1:14
It was insane standing a few feet in front of that magic!
Great!!! Where is it? We saw him at Sugarland last month
This was Sugarland … the same! I was front row.
невероятный!
Translate this! I agree and repeat your comment!
wow! Anyone know what the song at 7:00 is?
That is crazy! I am the guy who sat next to you in front row in Sugarland! We need to meet up four a drink! LOL
No way!❤😂😂 post your X,I still hate insta.
@@CaseJams Mine is @07Blanco.....lets hit a drink
Wow Josh never had such a big guitar solo before. 😅And Joe lost a bit of extra weight I think. Looks already better 😊. Such an excellent band.❤
I will always love u 😢 I apologize for hurting you😢
This jam is for you czcams.com/video/P6gOG6s65Ik/video.htmlsi=q8CnUF6nWBlvWys5
Is it in Prague in May 2023 at FORUM KARLIN?
Nope, Texas at the end of October 2023
And people actually pay good money to listen to this.
Is it me or is his mic turned off? Because i don't hear him singing at all.
That’s my fault. I stepped inside the mic array. At that point it’s the stage volume mix.
the moog etherwave theremin.
Does anyone know what the short mic is for that's in front of Joe's pedal board?
Pretty sure he's said it's a backup mic ready in case the one on the stand fails, with another cable coiled & ready to lift up & swap it out!
It's happened a few times that his mic has gone out.
OMG
Awesome!! I recognize Josh Smith but who's the new rhythm section??
Looks like the same band he's had since Josh joined up with him . Definitely the same band he had at Red Rocks when they did the DVD only one of the backup singers is not with him here( Mahalia Barnes) which she probably has other things going on as she's missing in many of the clips of this band . Same drummer & Bassist & of course Reese & Josh.
Think it’s Lemar Carter on drums and Calvin Turner on bass
Kashmir....
I love Joe and everything but the prices of these concerts are just getting ridiculous...when he was just in Fort Wayne a couple of weeks ago some of the seats up pretty close to the stage were like 500 dollars ..im sorry that's just way out in left field...the average person can't afford those kind of prices....
What is ridiculous is the 600 USD my daughter’s private swim team got me for this month, or the 1200 the plumbers got me for … USA labor is … there is a reason everything be from China/Philippines/Malaysia nowadays. Joe at 500 front row for this experience and price is a deal and a half. Also, put headphones on and full screen and it’s free to you … thanks to me and Joe for letting this video to exist on CZcams 2023 as of Dec 2023. 🎉
What’s the opening track called , anybody ? Apologies for my ignorance ✌️
In another comment I gave some links to the track list to the show before and after. I haven’t seen a published track list for this particular show.
As far as guitar , Joe could go up against anyone?
I’ve never seen anything like it up close like this concert. Glad I didn’t watch the screen while recording. That is why the video framing is bad sometimes.
Alittle grace I see
Joe is amazing Guitarist he could be a one man band . His playing would still be ou😮t standing. Sometimes beginning not to seem right . Still love his music,,he should be a little more personable with fans .
Pick up med's 6:00 Walgreens
What Gibson SG? Sounds good with slide. No it is some custom made guitar? Telecaster last song very beautiful with volume pedal.
It’s a Zemaitis … one of the other comments I put a link to Joe talking about it.
Okay👍.
@@CaseJams thanks canjam
I believe that sooner or later Joe is going to start listening to guys like Julian, and Jonathan, and Martin...guys who break new ground. I don't think he'll actually join that club, but he's going to want to.
Last names? I need internet search engine help 😂
Julian Lage, Johnathan Kreisberg, Martin Taylor, Mateus Mancuso, Pasquale Grasso@@CaseJams
Mancuso is a fun listen, like Joe. If I want to clean the house or work on spreadsheets I might put on espresso house jazz. But that's a whole different style and it's not new ground, either.
Ooh, a lot of expensive amps there.....
Can't health reasons.
Hmmmm, shame about the vocal audio mixing.☹🇬🇧
That’s my fault. Joe wanted us all to stand up and I got too excited and stepped inside the array. After that it’s all only stage volume meaning the guitar and amps, and some
Ambient vocals.
In person it sounded perfect. This is an iPhone 15 pro recording keep in mind.
Nobody better than JB ...
What song is this ?
Here is the set list from another show from the same tour. This might help. www.setlist.fm/setlist/joe-bonamassa/2023/cannon-center-for-the-performing-arts-memphis-tn-43a02b07.html

You know what, I’m leaving your link up because.
@@CaseJams Cuz its true. Joe has problems.
He is such an amazing guitarist, and yet I don't feel a note he plays!? It's weird...
Well said, there’s only one SRV!
It's OK many folks have no ears to feel music . It's not that weird it's just lame .
@@paullevine1813 I don't feel music with my ears. I feel it with my heart. In my 60+ years I saw all 3 of the Kings ( Freddie, Albert and BB), SRV, Gatemouth Brown, EVH, Luther Allison, Son Seals, Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, Johnny Winter, etc. They all hit me on a deep level. Bob Marley said, "To know it is to feel it." With Bonomassa I know I don't feel it. I've been called weird many times. I like it:)
@fretfix1 other than the song Ballad of John Henry live version I had trouble feeling it too before. I saw him play on video the Ballad of John Henry song and it looked and sounded so cool, and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to see him live and front row. This was my first time seeing him live. I did feel it a ton live and I think Joe is best live and in person. I recall there bands with huge followings had similar things going on, Grateful Dead comes to mind, maybe Kiss, and even Phish
@@CaseJams Understood. I saw Joe 3rd row at Red Rocks and at the Porrtland Blues festival. To each their own. Glad you enjoyed it!
song one good, but made no since- meaning it was rambling from one idea to another.
Sir, you do live up to your name. 😂
Absolute garbage!
Which one? Josh Smith or Joe? This one featured Josh prominently in first parts after the opening.
Booooooooring
408 trolls man … much respect! ✊
@@CaseJams I do love a good troll, but I am genuinely not a fan of Bonamassa…like at all. Can you believe someone has a different opinion than you?! Blasphemy!
@jgpie I respect it. It’s cool. Leaving your comments posted. Reality is I have posted 300+ original music to this channel but my damn random concert video takes off when rest of my posts and remixes have like 5 views.
fucking eh!
Haven’t heard that saying in a while., but F ing Ditto 😂
