- Locked your keys in your car? This is how you can get in to your vehicle if you have locked your keys in the car. It requires special tools but it should give you a good idea's for getting in.
If you're looking to buy a lockout kit, this is the actual one I purchased on amazon, click here to see pricing and availablility:

On today's show I explain how to use a lockout kit, typically a tow truck driver's tool. I show you can buy them for your self and some tips on making one for your own. I also reviewed the Steck Big Easy lockout kit. Let me know what you think of this video, subscribe and thanks for watching, new videos every Mon Wed Fri - Věda a technologie
Thanks for the tips. Like the plastic wood slitting wedge. Also hardware stores sell round steel blendable rods that vary in with and lengths that will get you in your car. I happen to lock myself outside a home depot one day , used the wooden stakes as a wedge that time, the rod I bought cost me less than $5.00 and the wood was free from the scrap pile in lumber, also the plastic strip in kit used to pull up lock knob is similar to plastic straps they use to tie items to pallets and they trash those, pick some up by the dumpster glue a piece of sandpaper to it and back on the road, take care boss, and thanks for giving us Rush , Neil never forgotten

Thank you so much! My son locked his dads keys in car just going on dark tonight. Thankfully the old coat hanger trick worked. I’ve never done it before but I went out there just as he was about to smash a rear corner window! Not even 4 attempts & 10 mins later door was open! Mummy is more surprised then anyone! 😂
all for people being self sufficient. great video.
Great video. Thanks
Good job... It's cheaper to double check your pockets or triple. Did it once ill never do it again xD. You can also keep a magnetic key box underneath the car with a spare key.
great review
Thanks and God bless you for your helpful how to... video.
Good job thanks
It is great to help others and review products however to say that a service is too expensive is a stretch. A service is exactly what it means "service" and a service usually comes w a fee as you described to drive out time and skills. And those that need service will have to pay a fee for someone else that has those tools, skills and time. Once again thanks for the review. On the product
Wonderful video ,godbless.......
thank you for the video..i wanted to buy the tools but I don't see anymore in amazon
Type in “Tools for getting in locked car” there are a lot of different kits. You can by the bag and make the rod .
What size is the long reach rod
what about the ones that have an up and down push button and the unlock button doesn’t work
The link doesnt work on amazon
what if you dont have the tools
i love you timmy joe

So, how much is your time with your family worth? My husband used to get lockouts, and they always happened when he was at dinner with his family, or going to bed, sometimes after he was asleep, once when the family was opening Christmas presents.... so I repeat, how much is your time worth. How much would someone have to pay you to get up out of a warm bed and get dressed to go out in the cold, raining night to the other side of town for a lockout? Getting a roadclub sounds like good advice, but shame on you for devaluing the service provided. Tools, insurance, time, advertizing, cell phones, etc are all figured into that service. I think $60 is cheap.... try getting a plumber or electrician to do it for that price
Get advertisement for you but you could be a very dumb person IF you can save what you think is cheap $60. but after 2 years I bet 60 dollars is now much higher. If all walks of life had these kits in their trunks and help others whats wrong with that? Oh I forgot you want ALL the business.
My roomate just paid $40 in my smaller town; his engine was running and left phone inside all while being late for first day of work. Scared me like crazy when he woke me up early in morning to use my phone! It looked like like he had tried a bunch of diffrent things to open it, wedging and prying. Then towing dude shows up and my roomate says "who did you call?, this guy doesn't know what hes doing." We keep watching and 1 minute later the guy pump prys door open with little air pouch, and uses rod to roll window down... haha well could have been nice in that moment if we had the supplies to do it, maybe for next time, but was useful when we got the help he need right then.
@@davidblue435 Actually, quite the opposite. But if service is requested, pay the man for his time. Do you do overtime for free?
@@autoclinicwreckerservice9918 exactly. We have the skills to do it in no time pluss the insurance fir if the window brakes. Not only that but all the diffrent tools. A big easy will get u into 85-90% of cars trucks and suvs but not all
OH BOY, IF ONLY I HAD ONE DOUCHEBAG
Here's an idea, duh. Make a extra door key and put it in your wallet.
