I like the lean, and aggressive play of SF5 as well as some of the charcter models and animations... but SF4's crispy clean gameplay... so snappy and tight! Plus, you could really see the personality of the player controlling the charcter.
All thanks to the God mechanic focus attack and fadc, but parry is number one though

Its the crispness and consisness of the movement. It allows for more fluid and customized play. I know a diago match when i see one in 4. 5... not soo much. They all seem canned combos. That being said, i love the art and animation in 5, and the system is alot leaner... great for old school guys like me who just couldn't get past the clunky FADC's and ULTRAS. You throw out supers in 5 like nuthin. But IDN... 4 holds a lot more nostalgia at higher level gameplay.

The Daigo comeback almost my favorite one, but man NuckleDus (no charge!-)Guile with the two back2back straights in the face, followed by the legendary Guile back fist, the Masvidal three piece and a soda triple fierce, to fold Fuudo up bad, was the cherry on top.
watching these USF4 is like ooh man look at how there is a big difference between those who spend time on it and give us crazy show , unlike SFV where everything is repetitive and you can like anyone else can do
who knows they might release a super or something where they really appreciate those skilled people . i didnot say sfv has no hope or no good things . thanks for the comment ^^
lol no, you think people want SFV is shit? I want to love SFV but I cant, its just garbage
its been said a million times...its shallow as fuck, has no offensive or defensive options, no technical depth, babymode execution, the neutral game/footsies are worse than ever ("SFV is not built for footsies" - Xian), and almost all of the offense is based around 50/50 shimmies ("SFV is based on lucky guesses" - Infiltration)
play another SF game and youll see how shallow it is, compared to any other fighting game its unbelievably dull and restrictive
Dizaythesavior It can be fun if you want to play something different but I don't pretend it's any good, compared to other fighting games "trash" is the only word for it
1. no defensive options outside of hurr DP
2. 8 frames lag
3. whiffed attacks recover too fast for practical whiff punishing. it turns into throwing crush counter moves out hoping to get lucky
4. most combos are very easy and simple to the point where almost anyone can do them and there's virtually no variety in combos
5. no backdash invincibility, some may say that's good but I personally think that's bullshit
6. fucking AWFUL colors for characters. anyone with even a passing interest in art will realize the game has an awful shade of orange/yellow on most of its characters.
7. a few stages that can't even be used for comp. play (yes, sf4 had this problem too, I am not going to defend it from this point either). the beach level is actual legitimate bullshit
8. no arcade on release for a fucking FIGHTING GAME. "but that's not even important" I completely agree but the fact they something that is so INGRAINED in this genre of video games isn't included is just pure laziness and incompetance
9. it took the game over a year to even have a decent size cast. "But SF4" yes I fucking know it had a bad cast at release too, this is still not an argument
10. too much significant change for characters that were great on their own. Vega changes? fuck no. Bison changes? Fuuuuck no.
11. Shit netplay. Don't get me wrong, most fighters have awful netplay, but SFV is on a whole new level of awful. I've played Skullgirls, UMvC3, SF4, Tekken 7, UNIEL, BlazBlue, and many others, and SFV is easily the worst. We're talking Super Smash Bros. Brawl levels of awful netcode.
And worst of all:
12. THE PC VERSION RELEASED WITH A ROOTKIT. If you don't know what that is, ask a tech literate friend to explain it to you. If they're even remotely competent you'll understand why this is so fucking horrifying.

Replace V-Trigger with Ultra and that's what people were saying about sf4.

@@nazuto1234 USF4 has both supers and ultras where as SFV has CAs and VTs. You can't just pop in in V trigger, it needs to be properly utilized in/for a combo, as much as supers in 4. I wouldn't say it's entirely the same but saying that "VT turns you into super saiyan" is ridiculous. Changing into VT without a proper setup won't do anything for you and is equally as stupid as throwing out random supers in 4. Furthermore the comment above is right in saying that people said the same shit about USF4 and about parrying in 3S. They all make for easy comebacks if properly utilized

There are literally countless pro’s that say comebacks in sf5 are not hype because of how having no chip and v-trigger makes it so likely to comeback that anyone can almost do it. You pop trigger in this game force plus frame situation and a 50/50 and you lose. It’s always the 16ers that try to defend sf5’s bs mechanics this game literally rewards playing like an ape and robbing your opponent when they were clearly outplaying you

And people who keep saying sfv combacks arent as impressive, To me, regardless of what game the fight is being held in, its impressive that a comeback was even made. Im no pro by any means but keeping your cool and overcoming the large set back is impressive in its own right regardless. Where many would probably give up and let stuff happen, some keep it up to attain another victory for themselves
