- MSC World Europa a World-class cruise ship built for MSC Cruises at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
As MSC World Europa is powered by LNG, it would reportedly allow her to sail with a 99% decrease in sulfur dioxide emissions, an 85% decrease in nitric oxide emissions, and a 20% decrease in carbon dioxide emissions, when compared with non-LNG-powered ships. She is also the world's first ship to implement an LNG-powered fuel cell. The 50-kilowatt fuel cell demonstrator aboard the ship will incorporate solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology and use LNG to produce onboard electricity and heat and reportedly further reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% when compared with ships powered by conventional LNG engines.

Frontal design is very innovative! However MSC still has a long way ahead when it comes to entertainment. Royal is still the pioneer. Nice review! 👍
I think MSC have a long way to go full stop. Glitzy ships only take you so far, the rest of the whole MSC product still needs a lot of work! They’re certainly no RC
To be honest our last RCCL was a disappointment compared to pre covid ones. MSC is a lot better if you travel off kid holiday season, a lot better! Having traveled with many lines NCL is currently still the best value.
virgin and royal are copies of the MSC cruise ships. Especially virgin has a lot of work to do, especially the interior looks cheapish compared to MSC :)

Lovely unit. A lot of luxury, interesting solutions. But do lifeboats have a capacity of about 400 people?? For me, sailing something like this is just a cabin with a balcony, without even going out to the corridor, and all meals or other needs through the service to the cabin.
