- Cruise news! MSC World Europa is now in Qatar for FIFA 2022, offering accomodation to the FIFA guests as a Luxury Hotel from 20th November till December 18th.
Just in time for Qatar’s hosting of the FIFA World Cup from November 20 to December 18, MSC Cruises celebrated the Naming Ceremony of its newest flagship, the MSC World Europa, at the renovated Doha Port on 13th November.
The MSC World Europa cruise ship is a brand new vessel with ground-breaking design and technology. It offers a unique hospitality experience for FIFA World Cup fans in Qatar with an impressive outdoor promenade and an extensive range of accommodation options - from luxurious suites with stylish private facilities to traditional comfortable cabins.
MSC World Europa a World-class cruise ship built for MSC Cruises at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
As MSC World Europa is powered by LNG, it would reportedly allow her to sail with a 99% decrease in sulfur dioxide emissions, an 85% decrease in nitric oxide emissions, and a 20% decrease in carbon dioxide emissions, when compared with non-LNG-powered ships. She is also the world's first ship to implement an LNG-powered fuel cell. The 50-kilowatt fuel cell demonstrator aboard the ship will incorporate solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology and use LNG to produce onboard electricity and heat and reportedly further reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% when compared with ships powered by conventional LNG engines.

Another Very Good Video. And don't get me wrong I want to Sail on it and it's Beautiful. But it's like a Fake Oasis Class Ship, mixed with a little...NCL. But still very nice.

It really does though! The aft promenade area looks like a sterile boardwalk area. The indoor promenade looks like a gaudy Royal promenade area. I don’t mean that in a bad way…it looks neat
I also want to sail it, if just to compare with RCL oasis class.

Despite the naysayers, MSC knows what they're doing. It might not to be perfect, surely. Nothing is in this world, but it is a strong evolution that permits MSC to stay afloat for the next 30-40 years of happy cruising to go!
Other than the apparent lack of some more classical bar/lounge opportunities (Gin, Champagne, Mixology and Juice bars are specialty), me thinks this ship as being more than approved for EU 4* hotel/cruising alike.
I hope that on World America they may at least to add a bar to the 5th deck MDR entrance, reduce sweet temptations space in favor of a bit more bar/lounge space. For World Europa? They'll likely need to use the tea place more liberally as well as the Gin place eventually...
Too much words mate, it's simply impressive and that's enough to get a cruise on this ship.😄☝️👊
