WE'RE FILLING OUR POND! this is an exciting moment, we've been dreaming of getting water into the pind and now the pricess has begun, with a whopping 43,000 litres a DAY going into it. How long will it take to fill? We estimate around 3-4 months.
The workshop conversion in the garage is turning into an epic space, as the floor to the mezzanine is installed with OSB and we put in the partition wall - maximising space is what we're all about with this build!
We're also getting closer to moving into Miracle Mountain, but there's a problem...we don't have a bed! So we're on a mission to find one...

Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Miracle mountain is certainly coming together. If you can clear out that silt, think about using it in the gardens. The silt is probably high in composted organic sand minerals.

Just today, my hubby was saying how crazy it is that here in the US, even big hotel buildings are made of wood. A cutest little tree frog. We had so many of those when we lived in Florida. Not so much in New Mexico. Here we do have beautiful coyotes and, yep, beep beep, Roadrunners.

7:43 I said it in the stream, but it's actually a good thing that you went to the mill for your wood. Our wood over here in the states is 'finished', aka planed and smoothed, so we lost about 1/4 inch in each dimension. Getting wood straight from the mill, your 2x4's are ACTUALLY 2 by 4 lol.

This is truly a Miracle Mountain. The lake is going to be beautiful when itâs completely full. You do have a lot of work a head of you but I hope you get some outside help cause itâs too much for you to do by yourself.
