About Dead Cells Update 25
TLDR
Training room - hone your skills against all the mobs and bosses you've seen, except the spoiler boss of course
Aspects - extremely strong powers to make your run easier (but you can't win the next Boss Cell if you beat the game)
World map - see the paths you can take through the island
When you pick up a scroll you can see the change to your overall damage for each colour
Multi-binding moved to Custom Mode
Lots of smaller quality-of-life changes
About Dead Cells Update 24
TLDR:
Balanced items so that historically weaker ones are now viable
Added rooms to Derelict Distillery and Fatal Falls biomes
Weapons that can reflect grenades now reflect all the grenades in range
Integrated Tiled for modders to make custom room design easier
Item balancing
The whole point of this update is to try and avoid a meta with only a small fraction of weapons being viable. We want you to be able to pick up whatever you find and be able to go nuts with it, not just instantly hit the recycle button - this is a roguelite after all goshdarnit!
So, in short we are mostly buffing all the weaker items (70 items are being buffed with 21 slightly nerfed).

I generally roll my eyes at cursed sword runs. This one was hella entertaining. Your demeanor makes your content stand out.
They look more cool and extreme than entertaining in my opinion. its just that sword noone would like to use and it slices through allmost everything in 1-2 hits, its more fun to watch a crazy build like everything on one button or a build with a weapon a person belives its bad

@@TheHeadlesss No, I meant cursed sword ONLY runs. I only know of 2 completed runs like that. Normal Cursed runs with a full build were done by a lot.

dude did a legendary cursed sword run without the actual legendary affix of no items, before it was cool
back in the day i used to use cursed sword all the time just because it’s owns everything before you could get hit, especially before the boss damage cap. too big of a break means i’m not good enough to do that again

Why were you taking purple after red? Didn't think anything mattered beyond main stat. What benefits does purple over green have
Before update 30, legendary items scaled on your 2 biggest stats. For example, instead of 30 Brut, I would get 30Brut + 6 Tactics worth of damage on my legendary Cursed Sword.

When you select play on the main screen when you start, choose "Custom Mode". Once you choose that, you can select equipment and advanced options.
