nice vid! one thing I would've added is that you can dash into jump pads in order to absolutely SEND yourself. it only works on the circular ones, the triangular pads always send you at a specific speed.
very useful trick for getting around the map faster, especially on vegas.

I always love dashes in games. This might be the single most satisfying dash in any game I’ve played.
I agree. It reminds me of the teleport hunters got in destiny 1. But much more tone down. Still super fun though.

Most buildings/areas of importance are like 9 stories high in the finals. You can’t even get to a roof with Dash in a lot of areas.
However, I do agree that here in a few weeks, you will be seeing Dash players doing insane things
If you use windows to help you get higher, you can get up pretty quick. Just gotta be creative. But if you mess up, you gotta wait for all your charges. Grapple hook is better in this area.

I don’t know how to dash effectively in the game though. I have my specialization bound to both Q and E, which means that I can’t move freely while dashing. How do I do that?
You can try putting it on side mouse button. I use to do that for awhile. You just have learn to place your fingers on two buttons at time if you wanna keep it on Q. for example, if you want to dash left, get in the habit of pressing Q and A at the same time.
I consider myself to be using Evasive Dash at a high level, because I have 5 buttons on my mouse and I use one of them, which allows me to choose the direction of movement perfectly thanks to wasd
Evasive Dash is literally a tool of last resort. At the last moment, interrupt the theft of your cache, at the last moment, escape along an unpredictable, stunning and complex trajectory, and more, more, more
Main grapple hook in turnies and carries me sorry perfer it or invis and dash
Definitely worth noting, but make sure y’all rebind your dash key to something that doesn’t impair your movement. Mouse buttons or like a ctrl key ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah I would agree. I have it bound to both q and 4th mouse buttone. I honestly just use Q.

Dash? Yes it does. Way more versatile than the other specializations for the light class.
