I use to neglect my nails and cut them down to the skin. However, I read that women judge a man a lot by the care he tskes in his nails. So I thought, "What have I got to lose?", After about half a year now of properly caring for my nails, I'm happy that I just don't do it for the ladies but also myself😄. Yeah, good. I'm a manly guy and just turned 60. Decided to start taking care of myself better and went and got a mani/pedi. Great stuff. Feet and hands look 100% better and loved the message. I felt awkward at first sitting their but wtf...who cares. I will go back every month now. In the US there are a bazillion of these places to choose from. I think it cost 35 buck for both.
omg where do you live? LOL. We have to tip more than that in the city!! good for you getting some hand care, because also, your hands tell a lot about your health. If the manicurist saw something, she/he may point it out to you as a heads up.

the buff will make your nails thinner and weaker over time. I'd recommend going without that step, especially if you work with heavy stuff.

Walgreens is the US counterpart of Boots... Not sure why getting a manicure seems daunting but not so scary after this.
