Perfect Max...masterful visuals and audio. Terrific to get out with you finally after Xander has talked so much trash about you...and I'm glad to know now that only 85% of what he said is true
I am surprised Xander has never mentioned you... who are you? Thanks by the way!
@@maximbudnick 😜😜
@@LostLakes😄thanks again man
😊😊
Fantastic that Canadians have chosen to protect so much of the land. Here's to continued growth of your channel and many more adventures in the wild.
I am grateful for all the access to nature we have here. Thanks for your support!
Brilliant camp maxim always good to see your brother xander tagging along with you as well glad you all enjoyed scenery is just breathtaking great to be with good friends and great food as well thanks for sharing take care all and enjoy 🔥🔥👌👍
Thanks 👍
I’m not a prude by any means but it so nice to watch these videos and not hear bawdy talking, cursing , etc. The camaraderie is amazing to me. Thank you for sharing your videos.
Thanks, Rebecca! Yeah I'm not perfect and drop some (mild) curse words here and there in daily life - but I try not to do it in the videos - I feel it's better that way. My pleasure - thank you for watching!
Sincerely enjoyed the entire video Max. Loved the drone shots, the macro, and the entire edit. I still cannot believe we took that rest day, but man that hike was super cool! Those shots you got from up there were top notch. Extremely well put together video, and I truly enjoyed tripping with you my friend 🛶 🔥
Great to see you out on this trip. I’m looking forward to your perspective.
Hey man, it was my pleasure Keenan! Really glad you enjoyed the video. Lets do it again soon! Looking forward to your edit!
All of you together… awesome! And after watching the entire video I’m surprised they didn’t spam you more!😂… great video!
Thank you so much 😁
Dude, like when you are out there in the majestic, you look up at the sky. You see beauty and wonder around you…it’s almost impossible to not think of God. Thank you. I love your style and class.
Thank you, Tom. Your words resonate strongly with me. I also feel a very strong spirituality out in nature
Videography is very thoughtful and nuanced! Campsite cedar without a top and then showing the top submerged in water. Lake waves superimposed on the rivers rapids. Nice job!
Hello, Richard! Thank you for watching - I'm so glad you enjoyed. All the best to you!
On a Friday night with nothing to do…. You’re the man for posting this just now!
Really glad to catch you at the right time 🙂
Did you know those bears were there? Or just get lucky with the drone
Living the life for all of us concrete jungle dwellers 🙌 Thank u.
Hey Kevin. I've been there - living in a concrete jungle and watching camping videos to feel peace. Hope you get a chance to spend some time out of the city soon.. All the best and thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed that video. I love seeing the autumn colour - we don't get that here and it's so beautiful! Thanks🙂
You’re welcome 😊
Nice trip, I’ve said it before but I just love your eye for photography maxim so good.
Thanks a lot Michael!
36:07 looks like a painting. Great captures Maxim.
Thanks!
Max has an eye. Calm, cool, collected. Bro is the funny bone. But I do like the brotherhood of you all with each other and Jon. FYI, it was through Jon that I subscribed y’all.
Wonderful. Thank you for subscribing - much appreciated. My appologies for the delay in replying to all your kind comments, but I just recently got back from a monthlong trip.
Beautifully documented Maxim! Love you side of the Backcountry Boyz adventure🙌 Thanks my friend🙏
Thanks man! Yeah it's fun when you're able to see the how different personalities captured different perspectives. Cheers!
I really enjoyed this video. So beautiful and peaceful. I'm glad I found your channel.
Thank you so much!
Just gorgeous! I do miss the fall colours. I'm convinced that they are a reward from The Creator(s) for putting up with the mosquitoes all summer. 🌝
Hi, Gord! Haha yes Fall does feel like a reward. Cheers!
Drones to help find your way, why not. Another great vid. Haven't seen you nor Xander for a few weeks - glad to see you both. Already looking forward to your next adventure...!
Hey there, Alan! It's been a busy month and took me longer to post this video than I expected or wanted. Good news is that next video is already in the works. All the best!
I bet the canoes thought parts of this trip were a real drag. hahahaha. beautiful scenery thanks for sharing as usual.
Haha nice, Judy. My pleasure!
That was a GREAT video!
Four of my most favorite CZcamsrs on a trip 👍🏻
Your videography is phenomenal. The shots you got of the waterfalls, the Milky Way and the 4 canoemen of the apocalypse paddling out of the fog just blew my mind.
What a great way to end the week. I do truly appreciate all the work and effort you put into all of your videos.
Thank you for that.
Really appreciate the support Alan 🙂
4 canoemen of the apocalypse lol!
Wow Xander, awsome footage from the drone . Great 👍
Yes Xander did a great job with the drone!
32:33 - 32:44 just blew my mind I had to pause and stop and leave a comment! But the whole video is so masterfully done. You should definitely video for Nat Geo. Those trees look so insane from so far up. The drone has totally changed our perspective and nature has never (but always) been so beautiful! Anyway, thanks for the super sweet video. God bless!
Really appreciate that. I don't yet actually own a drone so Xander and Jon were kind enough to let me use their footage. I can't wait to get one soon though!
That's a mess! Portages are super to do and we enjoy that scenery! Your judgement is usually right on!
Thanks! :)
So Max, I guess seeing you beat Keenan, Jon and Xander to the posting that means that it's your win and you the best CZcamsr from the trip .... 😉 Good video mate, great content!
Hahaha! Thanks, Dave!
Imma keep it real max, at first I thought this channel was missing some action or humour or dialogue. And then I realized that's only because I'm so used to your brother! Your channel brings something I completely overlooked, simplicity with a zest of zen. And I love that, it's so calming and beautifully shot. Cheers my friend keep up the fantastic work.
Thanks a lot man I really appreciate that! Your feedback is really welcome Even your criticisms. I'm glad to hear what you like and dislike it means a lot.
Such a beautiful country, Canada is.
It really is
Beautiful Max and so fun to get multiple perspectives of this trip. The fall is my favorite as well and the colors reflected in the water are so stunning here. You all make a terrific group! Rain, sun, fog, all have their magic when paddling don’t they?! Certainly makes one appreciate a cozy camp site, fire, food, and good friends. Thanks for it all 😌 Barret
Hi Barret. I couldn't agree more with your comment on how different types of weather have their magic when paddling - though I guess strong wind might be the exception haha. Glad you enjoyed seeing the trip from my perspective. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Very well recorded, the sky, the multicolored trees, the aerial shots, you really know how to make good videos, thanks and thanks to the go9gle translator
You are too kind :)
Really enjoyed this. So peaceful.... beautiful balance of natures beauty and humor ~~ "Favorite part was the dragging of the canoe" 🤣 😆 your brother is funny too

Hello, wow, i can't tell you's how much i enjoy your videos! The canoeing, fishig, exploring, all of it ! So my thanks for all you show us,oh the portages, your province. Would yous consider out west? I know it's far! Thanks
Yes I would! I have a couple of videos from trips in the Southwest, and have done some great trips in the NW (before making videos). I'll actually be out there in a few months - hopefully I can make a nice trip or two out of it! Cheers!
Agreed that Autumn is a favorite time of the year, Maxim

@@maximbudnick Yeah!! looking forward to you reaching a half a mil subs and more soon, too.
Thank you Maxim; I was wondering who the 4th “adventurer” was, then I saw the input from ‘Canoe the North’. Great video, congrats all of you!
Thanks Nicholas!
Good Time Maxim... Good Time with good ole boyz
Thanks a lot! Sure was a good time 🙂
Awesome adventure 👍 Great to see all the guys together and having a blast and grest food. Beautiful scenery with the fall colors setting in...can't beat that. In the GTA here. Thanks for the share Brother 👊 🇨🇦🔥🇨🇦👊
My pleasure really glad you enjoyed!
I can’t wait to watch an epic production from you Max! And with Xander and jon! Awesome! Just gotta get through the work day and home chores first!👍🏼. NQU
Hello, NQU! Thank you for the support! Hope you enjoy the other videos as well!
Loved seeing the black bear mama & 3 cubs you got on the drone footage! Did you see them before you launched the drone? Great to see the area and the lakes have recovered so well from the uranium mining in the 1950s.
We had no idea that they were there. It was Jon who sent the drone up and said he saw bears. None of the other of us saw it until he was kind enough to share the footage.
The bear family was unreal!!!
Another Budnick !.great video man , incredible footage.
Thanks for bringing me along
REally glad you enjoyed it Harvey
Yeeyyyy. Xander and Max went on another camping trip. Makes my day.
🙂🦆
Looking forwards to watch this video 👌
🙂
Nicely done Max. Great drone video's. Very strange to see Kenan and Jon on someone else's video. Brad Jennings of Explore the Backcountry did the same route and it was a slog through the creeks also but beautiful lakes.
Yes we used Brads maps. Its hard to believe he did it as fast as he did!
Gorgeous video! Those stars! The drone shots and fog! Your funny brother! 💯
Thank you kindly
That’s quite a crew, I am sure some fun was had… great video
It was, we had a blast. Thanks for watching!
Magical! Majestic! Magnificent! Love it!
Many thanks!
Thank you, fellows for this video. It is "ethereal" if I understand what that word concept means. Good, enjoyable video again. Thanks, all. Daniel O'Brien, Kansas (where we dont tend to have scenery and outdoor venues or experiences like this!)
Thank you, Daniel. Glad you enjoyed this one. Happy New Year to you and your family!
Beautiful footage, it's cool watching all the different perspectives. Thx for making a longer video it's lovely to see everything.
Thanks for that feedback - glad to know you enjoyed the longer video. All the best and thanks for watching! 🌲
You’re always gorgeous in making splendid videos on a trip in wildlife, Max ❤it
As always really glad you liked them!
💗
Great companions to have on a trip !
They really were!
Love your filming and photo talent.
That drone shot going around the camp was really cool !
You do a great editing job too!
Thank you very much! The drone shot was very kindly shared with me by my brother Xander :)
Beautiful film. The Canadian wild places look so beautiful. One day I’ll be paddling there.
Thanks I hope you come check it out
Fantastic. I have a place on Quirke. Next time stop in for a beer. Beautiful area.
Hey, David. Maybe I'll take you up on that some day! Fantastic place to have a property!
Absolutely beautiful drone footage!!
Thank you, Tesina!
Saw lost lakes and zander sabotaging your vid nice nature shots max
Oh yeah, those guys are always up to no good... Haha thanks for watching, Anita! Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you Jaime! My personality favors being quiet and listening to natures sounds - so I try to bring this honestly to my videos. Sometimes I am worries that many people prefer talking in the video, so it is nice to hear that you enjoy the silence. Thank you for watching and leaving another nice comment! I hope you and your family has a nice Christmas! :)

Will do, Donna! Florida has lots of beauty as well!
Yes it does Max
So you just have to come on down an enjoy our beautiful beaches ok
Bye bye
Absolutely!
Four canoes loaded with cameras, you don't see that every day! Enjoyed the video, Max, and meeting you guys on the water!
Hey thanks again for saying hello! really appreciated that!
Xander and Maxim what a team. I watched in 4K... Wow
🙂
Wow, what an all-star cast on such an epic route, so awesome!!!! And absolutely love your music btw, I could listen to it on a loop all day long!
Thank you for the encouragement, Richard. All the best
Beautiful area, really cool topography. Loved the fall colors. I bet the Moon River would be beautiful in the fall. You are probably getting the cold snap that is reaching almost to Texas and I heard Minnesota got snow so it might be too late for fall colors. Here in the Pacific Northwest we are having an incredible warm fall and the fall colors are taking a long time to show. Nice video Maxim.
Interesting. It was really beautiful! Thanks for watching
Max's next video got somewhat of a peak of fall colours... I think
Great trip and great video Max👍 Don’t tell the others, but I think you’re the most impressive photographer/videographer of the lot! Really interesting angles and I like how you frame your shots very tightly. Keep up the awesome work!
hahaha thanks Peter
Nice video! What a great trip! Thanks !👍
Thanks again!
Love watching your videos! Beautiful scenery :)
Thank you very much!
I love your brother's videos but I can't get enough so I'm doubling down and following you as well.
Welcome Daren!
Such a pretty area. Lovely short film! The drone shots of the bears and the river immediately following were gorgeous.
Glad you enjoyed, the drone shots were by my brother and Jon. I have yet to get a drone.
What a beautiful area. And all my favorites tripping together. Great video.
Thank you, Sally! 🌲
... Very nice video .... Awesome location with good friends ... drone footage is amazing ,, awesome landscape footage but also a good tool to use as navigation ,, (unknown portage routes etc. ) ....awesome canoe work with mixed conditions ,, your areas have some of the best canoe waters .... Def. subbed .... til next time ...
Hey you're right about the drone being good for navigation - can really save you from wasting time going down an impassable route. Thank you for watching, and for the sub. Next video is in production - hope to have it out in the next few days. All the best!
Thanks for the upload Max!
Your welcome found Ponds 🙂
🌲very nice 🌲
you are nice 🦆
It's a beautiful life in a beautiful world.
I couldn't agree more, Avia! 🌸
Thanks for yet another beautiful video. The scenery itself is lovely but when you capture it with your artistic eye it's even more so.
Many thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing! Ever since I was introduced to a canoe some 38 years ago by our elementary principal, I have always been in love with canoes and have always dreamnt of taking an epic canoe trip such as this. I sat in awe as he detailed his two week canoe expedition down the Wisconsin River. Though I personally have yet to fullfill that dream, I am truly grateful people such as yourself allow those less fortunate such as myself to travel along with you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with the rest of us! I Look forward to seeing more of your videos! Subscribed!
Thank you for sharing that. I hope you get around to doing your own epic trip. Are there any good river routes around where you live?
@@maximbudnick Unfortunately there aren't. I really enjoy the beauty of wild and untouched wilderness such as that in your video. Living in the central atlantic here in the U.S., the closest thing to that are our mounbtains, something I absolutely love and cherish. Unfortunately here, we don't have what you have, as far as pristine navigable waterways. Canada and its great expanse of umolested wilderness is one of those must see things on my bucket list. What I hate more than anything is navigating a river or stream and finding the tell-tale signs of human activity--an old tire, beer bottles, plastic containers, clothing. Human trash and debris littered on river banks and lakes really turns me off and keeps me away from our local navigable water ways. I love canoes because they allow you to enjoy the beauty of nature with minimal impact unlike a motor boat with its pollutants and noise. And yes, I still intend to do that epic canoe trip. Unfortunately I lack the physical attributes of youth that you and your friends posess so portaging will likely be out of the question. I'm only young at heart these days. Too often my body reminds me of the difference between being young and being young at at heart. Again, thank you for your videos!
Absolutely beautiful!! Love how you capture the essence of wherever you are. Well done!
Thank you very much Rose. Means a lot
Great trip with a great group!
Yes it was!
dont if you know much about elliot lake but i live here and love it for the fishing
This was my third canoe trip there and I will definitely do more. What a beautiful area!
So serene!! Thank you Max for this beautiful and peaceful journey!!! 😊😊😊
Thank you again!
I love those "intimate little scenes" as well in wetlands, rivers and creeks, and among the rocks. It's fun to spend time in those and examine a smaller scale in a vast wilderness. Once again Awesome video. Thanks!
Really appreciate it!
Video was great! Video footage at 26.29 was beautiful. Showing the waves at 18.57 to try and capture how high they were was cool. You could see how it was lifting you up and down in the canoe. Adding in the drone footage from the others was amazing.
Did you guys even know the bears were at your take out?
Hello, Nancy! We had no idea the bears were there - though it's the kind of area where you suspect you might run into animals. Jon discovered the bears when the drone went up. Thank you for watching and for the nice comment :)
Beautiful...love the Drone footage, very Artistic overall. Great to see you all enjoying the Wilderness.
Really glad you enjoyed it Paul!
Wonderful!
Thanks for watching! Nice username by the way
That was awesome 👍🏻
Thank you! All the best
Another epic adventure with awesome humans. You really have a way of capturing unique closeups, sounds and such. I feel like I’m there experiencing the beautiful moments. The drone footage from Xander were awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!
Really appreciate that Lucie! Your comments help me know what I am doing right.
Good to see the group change the plans for the sake of savouring the experience. Also, using the drone for scouting & navigation makes it worth its’ weight. The diversity of colours and cool freshness of the Fall is hard to deny.
Thanks for sharing another great adventure, Maxim.
Thanks for watching again salty dog!
LMAO! the kiss!! ROFL
Haha Xander being Xander
Hi. New subscriber. What a fantastic video. Looks like a wonderful trip. Spectacular footage! Loved the drone circling the island while you guys were standing around the fire, the family of bears was incredible, the drone footage looking down at the colors is off the charts great, rocks seen from the water very cool, the canoes in formation through the mist fantastic. Everything about this is great, except for one part. I thought Xander was going to lick the lens. I mean, at least it wasn't instructions on how to properly poop in the woods, but that was shocking footage there my man. Great vid.
haha thanks a ton. I don't yet actually own a drone so Xander and Jon were kind enough to let me use there footage. I can't wait to get one soon though!
I also loved the bear family!
Nice new video! Kind of your companions to let you have the premiere.
Thanks Arjen! I think all the other guys have more of a backlog of videos they need to edit before they get to this one.
Dope Vid brotha, loved the caribou lake section. The Elliot Lake area is so epic! Glad to see it being shown in all her glory.
No doubt!
Amazing scenery and sounds ..new subscriber
