The one that got away (Whitehaven west pier )

My next video we eventually made it across to the west coast to Whitehaven and I was of course hoping to get my thornback ray we had a visit from Cumbria angling rigs and baits who delivered us some peeler crab and also soaked my bait in Dave’s special sauce to try help me catch my ray… I hope you all enjoy the video the 2k subscriber draw is in this video stay look out for that

Well done lads, and unlucky mate never risk a ray up that wall no matter what the size obviously you know that but sometimes when your adrenaline is pumping you just concentrate on getting it up, and don’t think of the line snapping etc, pleased your happy with the rigs, and Adam landscape always landscape 😂😂😂🎣🎣

You should walk them round to the right into the harbour and land on the steps on the inside especially if there bigger 👍🏼 always next time mate

I checked the eyes of me rod line the lot straight after it happened mate I knew better than to lift one to big.. and also know better to walk it to the steps there just at that moment my adrenaline was going and was just wanting it up… it’s what I get mate but onwards and upwards always next time

Get yourself to balcary Darren, you can’t fail to catch rays from there and you won’t need to lift them up any walls.

We went to balcary mate I done a video there.. unfortunately mate after I braved the walk / climb down there was 35+ mph NE winds mate and it was very difficult to fish but we are going to go back but on a better day ( no wild winds )

Patient is a vertue mate you will get ya ray done to the guy who gave you some fresh crab in tip top condition can't see the reason for a special sauce to mix into the crab as there's enough sent in em to start with any way still a great jesture tight lines 🇬🇧😎👍

I was curious to try the sauce with the mackerel and that mate I used only one crab that day and froze the rest 😊 the sauce is canny when marinating me bait in it gives it extra cent 😁 I hope your feeling well by the way mate 🎣🎣

Don’t climb up on the wall, it’s too dangerous always, always walk the bigger fish round to the steps or use a drop net.
