Great, thank you for the video! Do you have any recommendations for an adjustable head strap for VR development, one that allows you to keep the headset on while working in Unity? I've tried Kiwi and DESTEK, but they both slip down and don't stay in position when I move the headset to an upward position. I noticed in another one of your videos that you were using the Rift S.

@baltic8558 It's pretty damn good so far, I think it looks great. The only negative is that It's not oled. However, everything looks really sharp, and from what I remember, it is generally an overall improvement. Can't believe what 5 generations of VR headsets make a difference.

@@rgbkingpin oh ahahahaha you got it aswell. i cant wait to try it out as i remember using my friends quest 2 and being blown away with the graphical fidelity on pcvr titles. my only concern is being able to play for long durations as it runs on battery so im not sure if i need to get a 5m long cable to extend my use time.

@baltic8558 in pcvr I bought an active cable that takes power externally, and it seems to help extend the quests battery life. Alternatively, if you are playing without a pc, I've found that using my power bank makes it last a long time. If your budget allows for it, you can also get a 3rd party battery headstrap.

the face interface can be adjusted to leave space for glasses c: but it's recommended too get prescription lenses instead so you don't risk scratching the lenses

After trying the quest 2 at my friend,s house this weekend, i went ahead and bought the quest 3 512gb. Now ofcourse this a not a n apple vision pro. I don't expect this thing to be as good as the vision pro. But i have to admit that the quest 3 is still far behind apple vision pro. You can not use the quest 3 like you would with the vision pro. Can't walk outside, you can't move around the house too much because it needs boundaries. Hard to share the headset with someone, because that person will not be inside the boundary,

The question is is it worth the extra 3k $ tho? You could get a car or a MacBook,iphone and airpods max and maybe also an s9 heck you could do a trip to Bali 💀

My only gripe is that we didn’t get oled and the resolution should be a little better. The face padding does not feel as good as the quest 2 personally.

This is budget hardware.
What you propose would push it into 1000$+ territory. The resolution is already top of the line outside $$$ vanity HMD's and super high resolution MicroOLED's aren't cheap.

the price would also go up if that was the case. they are basically selling these for how much they cost to make and only break even barely/ selling at a loss. So its understandable they could not have had an oled and better resolution.
