Thanks for walking us through your process. I just submitted my first order to COMC this week based on your channel
That’s awesome! So glad to hear that! Good luck to you :)
Awesome video overall, ill most definitely be submitting sooner than later, i thought we had to list every card we submit which made me think "im already doing that for my own listings so whats the point?" Lol
I get it now, ty
Do you have to send the cards to them in penny sleeves? If you are comfortable the cards wont get damaged on the way, can you just send them cards in boxes?
Thanks for your video. Learn a lot. Will send my first order soon.
Thanks for watching! Good luck on your submission :)
Hey! Appreciate this video a ton! I have been pondering/been on the fence to try out selling via COMC and this video gave me all the confidence I need(ed) to get started! Answered all but one of my questions! My one question is: the calculated submission fees, do they just put a negative balance on your credit to start out? Thanks again!
So cards are 50 cents each to submit... then how come i see So many cards worth less than 50 cents being submitted, like stars of MLB or random 90's base? Seems weird to me
just found this video. do you have to write fresh pulls on the submission form?
Yes you do! But, fresh pulls is unfortunately being canceled as of last week. COMC announced they won’t be supporting it anymore :(
@@EagleMan_TradingCards i think as of right now its still on. I think its November but don't hold me to that
Thank you!
Thanks for watching! :)
If i have cards and slabs that are already in sleeves, but they are scratched up sleeves, do you think it matters? I mean, will those scratched up sleeves be in the pictures of my card/slab, or do they remove the sleeves anyway? If they are just going to remove the sleeves anyway when they take pics, i guess i could just leave the old ones.. Thanks.
Great question and I actually don’t know. I’ve been wondering this same question as well. I believe they replace the sleeves because whenever I purchase cards from COMC they always come in the brand new sleeves that are all the same type. So maybe it doesn’t matter, but I’m not certain!
@@EagleMan_TradingCards thank you for that info. Only one way to find out I guess..
Thank you for the video
Thanks for this video! I recently acquired around 30000 rough cards and I do not want to go through the trouble of listing on ebay lol.
did you ever consign your cards over? im in the process myself just cuirious how it went for you?
How often do COMC do 30% off submission specials
hello. im only sending in 20 cards and i don't have a box, you think i can do cardboard front and back then use a small priority mail box? thank you
Yes! You could do that. It doesn’t have to be a box. I’ve used envelopes and bubble mailers before. As long as the cards get there safely!
You pay shipping up front im assuming?
does comc come up with the prices? to sell them at
No, you get to decide how much they are priced for!
Going to do first drop off soon. So I assume I have e to add money to account before I submit and drop them off?
It would be good to have money in your account before the cards get processed!
Do the fees come out when they process your order or when the cards sell?
Fees come out when they process your order
I've bought a bunch of cards off of comc for less than 50 cents. Is this sellers getting rid of cards at a loss or is there a way to get cheaper rates for low value cards?
Great question! And I don’t think I can answer you definitively. In the past I’ve had submission deals where it came out to about $0.35 a card. But as far the really cheap cards, I have no idea why people submit them!
@@EagleMan_TradingCards I actually asked a rep from COMC when the chat feature was still enabled last year. They told me that $0.50 and under cards happen in many different ways - most often, they send the cards in expecting they'll get more, but can't sell at their first price, so they lower them gradually to recoup some money. People also send them in as "padding," encasing a more valuable item, or as "bonus cards" just to get rid of them to clear out room for other cards, usually when they have flat rate shipping as you do in your video. When you send in bonus cards you mark the individual box containing them with an x and they don't get processed into the account and you don't pay the processing fee - it's considered a donation. If you don't mark your padding or bonus cards with an x, they get processed into the account and you're charged the $0.50 fee per card.
Do you have to pay the fee upfront ?
Yes you do. It’s one of the bigger downsides to COMC. That’s why it is important to really consider the types of cards you’ll submit.
Who sets the prices for the cards??
You do! I actually just posted a video on how to set the prices of the cards you’re selling!
Can I submit 2 cards per clear polypropylene film penny sleeve front to front or does it have to be 1 card per penny sleeve? Thanks in advance!
