  •  Před 2 lety +15

In Brazil this configuration comes with the 230w adapter. It does work as you started, but if you play for some time you will see that the battery starts to slowly depletes, meaning it does not actually provides enough energy for gaming with full power. that's why i'm looking to buy a 300w charger myself

Hello sir, I am from Turkey and I am using a 3060 gpu laptop like this in the video. My laptop came with a 230 watt charger too but when I play games and use the laptop at game mode, the power consumption is too high the laptop uses the battery with charger together and lowers the battery percentage. When I use the laptop at office mode settings the performance is getting low but not draining the battery while it is connected to charger. I always use my laptop connected to the factory 230 watt charger but when it comes to heavily use like 2k high settings in games, my battery drains in 1 hour. I see the windows warning that says I have 20% battery left and I may want to plug the carher but it is alredy plugged in the whole time. I packed my laptop and send it to repair servic of the seller and the respond I get is that the charger and battery give standard normal levels and nothing is wrong and the battery use at heavily processing is normal. I'm furious with the seller now. I'm considering to buy a 300 watt charger but they told me that will make the laptop out of the warranty and no protection anymore. This is the part I am holding myself not to burn their place :(

Hello, I'm currently using a Lenovo Legion 5 2021 model (15ARH05), which does not support PD, USB-C port use for data transfer. So I'm wondering if I can possibly use a GaN 65W charger to charge the laptop through its slim-pin port (using something like a C-to-slim-pin convert hub). I've looked around the internet, and some say I can charge the laptop when it's in stand-by mode, but if I want to charge it while using it, I will need something >100w. I don't know if that's true or not considering my model is quite dumb because the C port is not supported, and since the original charger was 170w, are there any chances that a lower power input will damage those power-hungry components like the CPU or GPU?
