Daigo has been recently playing Akuma online lately. I don't know when I'll get more of his Ryu, but his Akuma is really improving from the last time I've seen it. BrokkenG joined his lobby from this point. Hope you guys enjoy the matches! :) - Hry

Its nice to see Daigo go for the flashy ending for once.
It's actually really sweet to see Daigo trying to learn the psychology behind Akuma's ultra 1. Seeing him use it in the most predictable and obvious ways is a nice reminder that Daigo isn't so different from the rest of us.

@RajmanGamingHD It's an option select it's just that Daigo timed/spaced it a bit early and since the palm didn't hit anything the Ultra came out, which is the nature of that OS, if the palm whiffs it means that the opponent went for a backdash (most likely) so the Ultra comes out to punish but if the palm touches the opponent then it means they stood still knowing a DP wouldn't save them from the situation so the Ultra doesn't come out.
That is one of the properties of a focus attack. It does more damage than a regular hit but scales the damage down faster.

Last time I saw Daigo's Akuma he played him like Ryu. Now his Akuma looks like Akuma.
No matter what it seems that daigo will always be the most entertaining competitor in my opinion. I just really like the aggression he shows.

Daigo plays his Akuma weirdly. Burns meter recklessly, zones a lot. However, his corner pressure is insane and he knows when to switch up a gear when it's needed. Refreshing stuff.

Daigo has used akuma since evo of last year. He picked him up immediately after the poongko debacle.
Never seen that before but I guess its because when done up close Akuma uses his knee first so he is still technically on the ground. Not sure about that though.

daigo play akuma just like ryu where tokido & Infiltration is way more aggressive but still good to see daigo matches daigo plz play wid evil ryu.

Vega's backflips should be used sparingly. To be honest, players like Daigo would punish them without thinking twice.

U2 has low damage, and it's not like it's really comboable. It's mostly used for fireball punishes, but Vega doesn't have fireballs. Also, U1 is about just as easy to land, provided you can set the perfect bait. Daigo hasn't been playing Akuma long, it seems, but I'm sure he'll figure something out.

Its so true. When players use akuma like that, it takes the piss. Akuma is one of the best characters so why dont people use him properly

@ew0k187 Forces standing and is faster than cr. fierce so the tatsu won't whiff.
He uses it, but i think he has certain reasons to use u1 in this match up...
Heh, he plays Akuma a lot like his Ryu. And looking at his buttons, it looks like he plays him more straight that Tokido.
