Steven P. Carpenter's Promotion Ceremony to Brigadier General

"I have loved being an American Soldier for the last 26 plus years because the Army is a people business, the ultimate team sport," said Steven P. Carpenter, 1st Cavalry Division deputy commanding general of maneuver as he was promoted to Brigadier General yesterday at the Mounted Warrior Museum at Fort Hood, Texas. "My favorite part of this profession, is building and contributing to cohesive, high performing teams, and helping Soldiers and their families achieve their personal and professional goals."
