    First , thank you so much for this helpful and wonderful tutorial we are so grateful for that , however i just wanna know for my client , should i create a normal user that enters the /wp-admin and then redirect to the dashboard ?
    or a normal user that create an account on the website and then a page will be added to the menu ? , thank you for your massive help again ♥

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  Před 2 lety +2

      It's entirely up to you. The aim for most people is to remove access to the default WP dashboard and so when using the normal WP login form they will automatically get redirected to the custom dashboard and never get to see the standard WP Admin area.
      I would keep things simple and create (or allow the client to register themselves), set the applicable user level for automatic redirection to the custom frontend dashboard and leave it at that.
      I hope that helps?

    • @karim_frikha
      @karim_frikha Před 2 lety +1

    As always a great and clear video. I was wondering if, with that bunch of plugins, it could be possible to add a playlist functionality. I can think of a playlist CPTUI with a relation field to post and make it accessible on front end by user, but i can not figure out how to make the reverse part, exposing the user playlist on post and making an " add post" on a particular user playlist mechanism. At my stage, i could display the playlists, with their actual content (and filtered by user), have on each an "add button"(in edit mode) but cannot preselect the current post in the ACF relation list of post proposition to perform the action. Have you already done that ? Thx a lot

  • @bradleyneedham3972

    Love all these dynamic plugins that are popping up. But in all honesty elementor needs to hop in the dynamic train and start implementing some more NATIVE functionality such as this. Even webflow is now surpassing them in the dynamic department with collections and all the cool things you can do with collections. As great as these elementor plugins are, they are a scary road to go down for web developers. One plugin breaks, goes un updated to long, or even worse becomes completely abandoned, alllll your clients sites relying on that plugin are at jeopardy or potentially completely destroyed. The fact that elementor developers are still heavily dependent on third party plugins/addons to give their clients the dynamic funtionality they require is a bit sad and has us on the edge of switching builders. We are at the point where we spend more time trying to get elementor addon plugins to play nice with eacthother on staging environment then we do actually building websites. Funtionality that addons such as dynamic content for elementor, dynoments, acf front end, crocoblock....etc, should all just be a part of elementors core funtionality. Elementor has enough money now I'm sure they could work something out with these addon companies and make it a win win for everybody (buy their code). Right now we need a magnitude of plugins just to allow a client to SAFELY re-word a heading on their site.... C'mon elementor.
