  • In this video I try Bangladeshi street food; a 'Momlette' and Deshi style Doodh Cha (Milky Tea!) I interview one of the owners; Shubo, and ask him all about this amazing concept that has come to Brick Lane!

    Most dominant desi/South Asian culture in London is Bangladeshi and 90% of Indian restaurants in UK is owned by Bangladeshis. However, Bangladeshi aren't acknowledged or represented in mainstream British media at all because Indians take all our credits in UK.

      Then why name them as Indian restaurants or market as Indian food? Islam is the reason why India got divided into 4 countries based on religion, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and present day India. Only present day India remained secular.

      @@rehan2118 I didn't know that dominant (more people?) South Asian culture in UK is of Bangladeshi. Perhaps people from Bengal must have moved to UK prior to greater India's independence from Britan, then India was split into several nations only because some people used religion to gain authority to split the country for Muslims, they became old and passed from this world, perhaps they thought they will live forever. After Indonesia, highest population of Muslims are in India. And even more interesting is Muslims in Indonesia follow Hindu culture, celebrate Hindu holidays, their names are sanskrit names. I don't live in any of the countries named in here. Britain used "divide and rule" all over the world for hundreds of years, you could consider yourself as Indian and take the credit as there is no difference.

      bangladesh was created by india in 1971. Bnegali is one of the indian languages. Remember how the british and americans supported pakistan in 1971 war. Still india saved you after defeating pakistan. You can take all the credit you want in british media. We hate the british media and western media in general. I'm sure there r many indian restuarants in UK too owned by indians. You should name your restuarants as bangladeshi restuarant. Why u name it indian? don't misled people.

    The real Bangladeshi food you can only find in Dhaka Bangladesh. If you do not wanna travel, I suggest you to try Nanna Biryani located by Altab Ali Park. Not as good as the real one but they do serve genuine Bangladeshi food.

    One day, try Mauritian tea, tea bag or leaves, brand Corson, Bois Cheri, … no additional ingredients, just tea, sugar, milk powder, no liquid, and come back. I ve personally brought boxes for white Brit’s following their demand.

    Is Halal same as Kosher where the animal arteries are cut to let the animal bleed to death slowly? I think this method is used, because in old testament God prohibits eating any creature that has blood?

    • @AntiDegenerate1971
      @AntiDegenerate1971 Před rokem +3

      Yes it is the same afaik....the blood is drained from the animal beforehand, which also gives the meat a tastier flavor
