WHAT BROUGHT ME TO CZcams: I worked at Goldman Sachs, in Private Equity, and built up a $100M holding company. But after being in Wall Street for so long, I got tired of managing hundreds of millions for the rich. Investing was for the few not the many. F that. You all are the reason I do this. We as a society need to get rich together. My mission is to create 100,000 business owners, I hope you’re one.

The dangerous part about “friends” is that we allow them to pass through the trust barrier without judgment.
my only friend is FL studio. LOLs
I agree on this one. 👍

In mortgage world, we use 2080 as the denominator to calculate hourly wage (based on 40/hrs wk).
Why? That's for 13 months instead of 12.
@@roxanegonzales1744 52 weeks x 40 hours = 2080.
We do too in gov contract pricing, but it assumes no unpaid time off.
You are articulate things so well. I appreciate all the value you drop on YT!
Great video Cody
Most people are happy with much and sad with little, but the truth is, they can have much and still be sad.
You don't need to have everything to enjoy life, you already have life to enjoy everything.
You also do not run a business to get in shape for business, you get in shape for business before you run it.
Big mistake people make is never getting a mentor, never understanding equity, and never truly understanding leverage.
Experience is truly the best teacher. Take leaps of faith, meet people. You will learn that business is more about people than it is about money
Favorite part is the whiskey advice ❤
What a master piece 👏👏
🎉🎉🎉 it’s about longevity and most wisdom comes from experience over decades!
Love this video
Hey Codie, you are a fastastic presenter of information. Watching you does bring me joy, thank you. Your enthusiasm, passion, warmth comes through to me. Unfortunately, I think it takes one to know one and although you present concepts so simply, you summarise years of studies & research in the space of several seconds. I question if humanity is ready to leverage on others' experiences, we may still need to learn from our own lessons 😊

Really liking what Codie has to say.🙂
Great video
I'm 24 and this saves me alot of time. Thank you codie now lets get to work
Great insight.

It is very crucial to know that planning to earn in today's market is an intricate process that necessitates not only strategic foresight but also expert guidance. It's paramount to align ourselves with seasoned financial advisors who can steer our investments toward optimal growth.
I recently connected with Folmar Advisory, a reputable advisory firm that matches individuals with skilled financial advisors. Their personalized approach has had a positive impact on my financial journey.
Within just a year of partnering with one of their recommended advisors, my investment portfolio experienced an impressive growth.
That's remarkable! How did you come across this Advisory firm and how does their matching process work.
I also discovered Folmar Advisory through online search of the name. Their commitment to client satisfaction and financial education is impressive. They connect clients with advisors who align with their goals and values.
The best!
You have a beautiful speaking voice. I think you could even be a stand up comedian if you wanted.❤😂🎉
Codie, I love your blouse. Could you share the Amazon link?
thank you i am 29 and was thinking it was too late for me and i didn't make like the teenagers we see in social media thank you.
This video spits so much truth! I am in my 30s now, feeling so much better and when I tell people I am happier getting old, they look at me like I'm speaking alien. 😂
Paycheck =/= Playcheck
good one
Good Cody this lines up with how I understand how it works as in I didnt know this stuff till now. ❤❤❤
Bit old though. Now its really just social media....sales...ads
ASU?! I'm going to start in May! Too funny
There should be a Netflix series on your life journey ❤
It's good to be generous and helpful within the confines of a company or career where reciprocity exists. However, remember that givers must set limits because takers never do. Be on guard against the narcissistic users in and outside of work. They will take whatever you give them without feeling they need to reciprocate.
I think there's an editing error from 8:34 - 8:48
Was hard to catch what you were saying because of the odd edit. Thanks for the content regardless.

Codie, I subscribed as I like your style and I'm hoping that some of that positive money vibe will rub off on me. Many people think they want to get rich so that they can retire and live an easy life; but living involves activity. In fitness it is often said, "use it or lose it", I think the same applies to life. I decided some years ago that whatever happens I never want to retire. Slow down maybe, but never do nothing - only corpses do nothing.
Friends or snakes in sheep’s clothing?
Thank you for the knowledge you have shared, really grateful for it. However I will have to say that your location is a super crucial factor as I believe your contents are "highly" favorable to more developed countries, specifically the Top western ones.
It is really hard to do that in a developing environment (country) with less opportunities and resources.
Imo the concept of "not buying Starbucks" to save money applies to a certain type of person who's eyeball-deep in debt from being a mindless consumer and can barely afford to live because their grasp on finances is so poor, and that's the first of many steps to getting out of that hole they've put themselves in. It's meant for the people at the bottom who don't yet have the position or mindset to be entrepreneurs. But I do see and agree with your point that's not the deciding factor that will turn you into a millionaire.
I agree with your point. A person needs to learn how to *not* spend money for any other financial advice to work.
😂 Here in NYC, I can still buy good coffee for 1.50 and a toasted bread, also for 1.50, total 3 bucks. The 🍞 is baked fresh every day.
Ayeee codieeeeee. Always coming with the bangers. Thanks for what you do!

I literally saved my way to my first $300,000 by 30 with a completely average annual income $55k/year so that part of your advice is bunk, but you are correct that true wealth, the tens of millions, has to be attained by earning instead of saving.
What were some of your saving techniques ? Do share.
@@CorneliaPauline 1) Lived in a lower cost of living area and had 6 roommates to bring my housing price down to $200/month.
2) Meal prepped all my meals for the month with a single shopping trip to save money on bulk sizes. This brought grocery bill down to about $200/month.
3) Jobs were always within 2-3 miles so I could bike or had a company issued car to remove car payment, registration, and insurance from the bills.
4) Kept all social activities under $5. Joined hiking groups, mountain biking, house parties instead of restaurants, theaters, etc.
5) Kept a strict budget to analyze my odds and ends spending to ensure it never exceeded $100/month.
6) Invested every penny I made that didn't cover these bills into 3 index funds, one that tracked the whole market (10%), one that tracked S&P 500, (50%), one that tracked the NASDAQ (40%).
This kept all my monthly expenses under $600 allowing me to invest over $2,000/month. Now, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this exact strategy but it absolutely works.

Many of us are very naieve when we are in our 20s.
12:03 is so true
I agree
You need money to invest or other things. Not buying coffee doesnt cost your future, but cut all unnecessary spending and try save the most money if you can.
If you earn 3k and save 2,5k your have more money than someone earn 10k and save 500.
Better learn something which give money, than go from 3k to 10k.
I agree with what she is saying, however, I disagree about saving your way to $100,000. That is something you can do - and I did. And I think it teaches you a lot, so would do both!😊
Uh, *I* saved my way to my first $100,000. You exist in a very narrow world. I took a job in Dubai where the employer paid for my luxury housing for 6 years and my salary was tax free as Dubai has no income tax there & US didn't charge me taxes as I earned under $100,000 a year. I am only a teacher but was able to pay off tens of thousands in student loans, travel the world on my loads of vacation, and rack up my savings. Salary only $50,000. I've got a half a million portfolio right now in my 40s and compound interest works magic for me every year now. Learn more about the road less traveled, Codie.
That mole puts me on edge

Yes, I am 💯 good as a graphic design artist and I will not reinvent the wheel, just change it. I don't like that word steal. All my collectibles got stolen.
Love to hang out, easy to be a strict boss. Not easy to be a good boss. Appreciate good job. Rewards, pays for what things are worth. Best way. Take time. Do the job. Reminder of what it takes what's expected. See if it fair for you. Retirement access for each.

Hey Codie. I am doing it I have been saving up for the last 3.6 years no investment just putting it in the bank in the savings account I am $15000 out to complete the challenge if everything goes well I will finish in august . So then you ask what after . I am been studying a lot about investing ready books watching videos like yours and others . Stock market will be my first step after I don’t know yet I am doing one step at the time. I am thankful for your teaching I appreciate it here from New Zealand

it is EASY EASY when young (especially today)....how about if you start your journey at 50? OR someone disabled, anti-social, mental issues, so many people give their ideas on the simple stuff
I don't take the "Skip the Latte" advice literally. I consider it to be more of a metaphor that, when applied at scale, small, seemingly insignificant decisions can produce huge positive impacts or result in "death by a million papercuts". Choose wisely.
You may not be able to save your way into wealth but you can certainly spend your way out of it.
I want to have fun in my 40's. lol lmao. Party woot woot. Interesting chart on happiness. Decrepit, but happy. haha
1903 hours per year? I'm used to this being 2080 hours (52 * 40). Taking a full month off - even without pay - is not a bad idea. I don't know of any construction-adjacent industries that look kindly on this level of vacation, however. Which industries do you see allowing for this?
I was being extremely conservative because CZcams comments be crazy ❤😂
don't skip all the tree either
God your content is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You know what I'd love to see you talk about?
1. How to be such a such a boss babe while still being feminine.
2. How has your work ethic and drive affected your relationship? Roles? Balance?
3. How do you manage your energy & mental health? Burnout? Stress levels?
Thank you we will do that ❤❤❤

Retirement couples book. Putting 5/10 dollars a week investment compounding does have an impact.
Realistically $25 dollars at today's standards latte da lolol
You don't need all the flashy stuff when you are very young.
Yes. Flash stuff doesn't matter in the end.
Omgoodness, I believed there was no hope if you found out things like this at 29. I just was like, I'm 29. I can't just do what these young girls are doing over night. ...smh. #only
And what about you 40s?
HeLLLL naaaah!
I enjoyed my 30's a lot more as whole.
My 30's were more balanced. Just felt right
Dammit, I thought the average age of millionaires was higher.
Awesome , I also started my journey here, would love some support/feedback from you guys 🙏
Funny that you said that you can’t save your first 100k
What if I don’t have any friends? I want friends, I just haven’t met any that were worth keeping around.
I dont have many friends so I surround myself with education videos like this because they rub off on you too. Also Ive reached out to a few ppl in real estate groups youd be surpised how many successful ppl are down to earth & willing to help you. You just have to know how to talk to them & figure out how to bring value to them.
@@Lil_warner I been doing the same for years with the videos. But I haven’t met many successful people yet
@@ErrorOptik then your not joining the right groups
@@ErrorOptik & there only gonna wanna be friends once you do business together that's why I said you have to bring some sort of value or atleast be smart enough to get them to believe in you
@@Lil_warner I am looking for the right groups, but I’m not sure what groups to look for
So you can be rich and depressed and lose all your friends when you say no one too many times to plans? No thanks!
I don't know Codie, if you're lucky enough to get to 98 I'd think you'd be f*cking happy (lol).
Wait until your 50+
