Video is very well done.
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it! :-)
12k 360 is needed with 1 or 1/1.3 inch sensor.
Great video, very insightful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
In your X4 samples, what sharpness setting did you use? That seems to be crucial - I've seen some low sharpness samples compared to medium and high, and the difference was very significant - the low sharpness samples were downright fuzzy, and a complete waste ot the 8K provided by the sensor. Anyway, your video is among the best X3 / X4 comparisons I have seen, thanks!
Thanks for your comment, really appreciate it.
The X4 does not have sharpness settings that you can change for 360 video and single lens mode. This feature is available on the Ace and Ace Pro (The Ace Pro shoots in 8K). In other words, you could say that the sharpness settings remain as default on the X3 and X4. Hope this helps
@@180by2 But the X4 does have sharpness settings... in the "image" menu, as I recall it from other reviews. If you have not changed that, then it must be on the default setting - but not having the camera, I don't know what the default is... Anyway, thanks for responding.
@@Ozpeter Ah, yes You're right actually. It's up in the image settings when you swipe down from the top. The X4 was set to medium/default. I'll make sure to include a comparison in our next video. Thanks for your comments
@@180by2 Great - and I guessed the setting right! Now I will watch the video again.
There is. I have my x4 configured on low sharpness and high bitrate.
My question is why don't we get Log in the X4?
Lol, that's a great question but we would genuinely have to ask Insta360 themselves about that. My guess would be that files may be difficult to process and save properly being in 360. Hopefully we will see some updates of this in future
Good review
Glad you enjoyed it
