Thanks for the video and I like the dog! My mirror won’t screw back in, the thread looks ok on the mirror but is there a chance the housing it screws into has damaged thread? I can’t see how that would happen..
Like the brake lever goes up and down as if the whole thing is rotating on the bar? Need to remove the handlebar covers and tighten the whole unit (master cylinder) up. Good luck.

@@VespaPortland I want to be sure of your response. There is no problem at the point where the bar connects to the handlebar. The problem is that the round cylinder connection point at the top of the bar where I move the mirror is loose.
I’m planning on using an after market side mirrors for my vespa because the one that came with it is very expensive to replace If I may ask Do you know the thread size for the side mirrors of modern vespa primavera 150?
What is the name for the part that you screwed the mirror into? Half of my mirrow screw is broke off inside..I'm worried I won't to able to have a left mirror
@@VespaPortland What the other commenter forgot to ask you is, how hard is it to access the perch to get the other half of the broken threads out? Lol. I don’t think I’m the first person this happened to.
Thanks for the very straightforward tutorial.

Hello and thanks for watching.

Yes, either set of threads can strip. Your local shop may be able to fix it or just sell you a new master cylinder. Good luck!
Thanks for the video. My Vespa's mirror needs an adjustment also. But the connection ballpoint on the top is very loose, how can we fix this?

Hope it works out! Thanks for watching!
need to replace mirror but i have a windshield. do i have to remove the windshield to unscrew the mirror?
Very likely. See if the mirror hits the windshield as it spins off. If yes, that windshield needs to be removed first.

Sorry for the delay. Don’t know the thread size.
how to remove for the first time, thanks
How to remove the mirror? 17mm wrench. Hold the mirror with one hand and turn the wrench with the other.

The perch or master cylinder.
