Honestly I had an Epson Projector costing £1500 from new, yes it was brighter and arguably much higher quality, but it is hard to say that a Projector costing less than £200 isn't amazing value for money with what you have shown. If I was in the market for a projector I just wanted to pull out for movie night every now and again, then this would be a brilliant option. I can see these flying off the shelf during World Cup as people have watch parties outside and in halls etc.

Hey bro, it's the same here. I got my 3lcd Epson im my living room, cause surely the picture is on another level. But in all my other rooms I got the budget ones, cause I love them also. They are cheap, and today's with a really really really good picture quality. Think 15 years back. For a image like this you've to pay thousand of bucks. And now? A colorful massive image for 150 bucks. And no worrys about lamp life etc. The only important thing on them, they have to be completely sealed, cause I don't like the black dust dots after month of usage.
Since five years now I'm totally addicted to the big screen experience. There is no TV in my house any more. From tiny pocket ones to the big Epson I count seven projectors here. And why? 😂 I can't even explain this. But I will have this one also. I think I'm on a search for the smallest projector with the best image quality. And this one should get very close to it.

Hi, a nice review. I just received my projector last week, after my old projector showed some lines in the lighter parts of the screen. The old one was a RD828 and this one is called Wiselazer X5. Both projectors and the one you presented in this video are slightly different in built, but basically the same. Biggest difference is often in the OS of the projector. My old RD828 didn't have Android. My new projector has. Though I'm convinced that laser projectors have a much better screen, I'm very pleased with the price/quality ratio of these budget projectors. A 2000 to 3000 $ laser projector will be much better, but how much is it worth the price? If I use a budget projector 1080p, I won't see much difference in picture quality on my occasional movie evening. In fact, the picture is astonishingly very good.
Also I noticed that the newer model is easier to setup, has bluetooth and works in sync with my JBL soundbar. I compared CZcams on the projector with CZcams coming from my PC that is connected via HDMI cable. Other than that the sound was louder natively from the projector than via my PC, the picture was very similar.
Though I could install Plex on the projector and played one movie with it, some series only have sound and no vision. Plex on my PC however showed the series, so I watch via HDMI. Because the soundbar is connected via Bluetooth to the projector I can up and down the volume with the projector's remote. My old RD828 didn't have bluetooth and I had the soundbar connected to my PC. It worked, but I had to use two remotes: one for the soundbar and one for the projector and a mouse for my pc. Now I don't need the soundbar's remote for the volume anymore.
For the price of a laser projector I can buy 10 of these budget projectors. I know it is not good for the environment and I try to keep the projectors as long as possible, but if I have to replace my projector once a year, the next one is going to be an improved version, whereas the laser projector is for ten years the same...

They advertise this as having 12,000 lumens. Dividing that by 2.4 to get ANSI lumens comes to 5000. However, when measured, the ANSI lumens comes in at a mere 380. Where does this 12,000 lumen number come from, does anyone know? I currently use a DLP projector with 3000 ANSI lumens, so dropping down by approx 10 times seems like a LOT.

Can you actually change the size of the image or do you have to move the projector closer to make it smaller? Please someone answer this for me because that would be a nogo for me. I have one spot at the back of my living room where i can put it. Thanks!

You're asking if it has a zoom function, and the answer is no. You will need to move the projector to increase / decrease the projection size, unless the keystone gives you what you need

I just wanna clarify that you guys just make a mistake by putting Dolby logo and other stupid resolution vector on your product which is a serious thing that could make a sue to your brand , Dolby is an exclusive logo that u guys can't just put it on your commercial product freely, you have to pass a serious requirement and registeration to access and grant the Dolby license. There is only one factory in Shenzhen that has this kind of license and your product is not one of them that could grant this permission. it is a serious misleading and Dolby has right to sue what you guys have done.

DO NOT BUY A PROJECTOR FROM THIS BRAND. I HAVE a projector that no longer works, all because they sent me a file to update and resolve the Bluetooth connection problem and even though I followed absolutely every procedure reporting that my projector no longer works. everything stopped. I'm trying to contact Xgody by email but no one responds. Therefore, I do not recommend this projector or others from this brand. It does not allow you to send audio to the receiver via the HDMI port and Bluetooth has a huge delay that is very annoying, there is no synchronization between lips and audio. The bluetooth also turns off randomly and forces you to stop everything and reconnect
