      There is no such things as Heaven or Hell in Sadhguru's conceptual framework which is essentially derived from 'yoga of renunciation' in Hinduism

      You only believe that because you wanted to. Heaven and Hell exist. Sadhguru isn't very informed in religions.

      @@ZiIIous Sadhguru is beyond religion, there are many religions all believing they have the truth, as you probably do also. There is no god man in the sky, or an evil man called the devil, that is a very childish belief, you need to become mature in spirit and see beyond the mere stories, as Paul said you need to move from the milk to the meat, meaning from the stories to the inner connection of Christ within, to your true inner being.

      @@robertallan6373 A living person who hasn't experienced death or received prophecy from God can never confirm the truth.
      It is this simple.
      You probably think spiritual maturity can only be achieved by copying his path, no, there are gurus, monks and Muslims who believe in God, and still reached it on HIGHER level.
      You're trusting him with your afterlife way too much, and this is a mistake you'll regret only after you die... too late to go back. He has good knowledge but he's still human, not a holy person or anything special. Think on your own, brother. It's your life.

      @@ZiIIous We as the mind body organism which you call a living person, is only the vehicle of who we truly are, we are all One in Consciousness, or what others may call God. There is no need for the mind body organism to die for one to experience their true inner Self, this inner self can be called the Christ. The Christ isn't a man that walked or supposedly walked on the face of the earth over two thousand years ago, this story is a metaphor for that which is within us all.
      We will never achieve the truth of our inner being while trying to copy anyone, this inner experience of Enlightenment can only be achieved when we drop all expectations, only then we can let go and die to our self, that is, our ego, the person or persona who we believe we are.
      There is no afterlife, there is only life , what most believe to be life is the mind body organism, the house that Consciousness dwells within, Christians are hoping for a place called heaven after death, this is a childish belief which comforts those who are afraid of death and what may lie beyond death, so called heaven is here and Now............you only need to let go and as they say, let God........not a man in the sky, but your true Self, the Source of all there Is, Consciousness, its not thinking for yourself, its being your SELF.

    No doubt, Mr. Sadhguru is very smart, calm and knows how to use philosophical methodology in his responses. But, at the same time, I have noticed him using clear logical fallacies quite often. For example, here he implied that... if heaven is good then why would be him sending that anchor to heaven, not good?...
    Well, who said if you kill someone then one who is killed will necessarily go to heaven. In fact, the whole concept says it is about earning your heaven of hereafter in this world and heaven too has many levels rewarded based on one's good deeds in this world. So, in fact by killing someone unjustly, you have actually deprived him of that opportunity of working further to earn heaven and its higher levels in hereafter and that is definitely not a good thing to do, besides your action of killing other is bad for your ownself too, when considering the complete scenario.

      @A K
      First of all, no one can be sure of earning his/her heaven before the judgment happens after one dies.
      And how come the guy being not sure about the existence of heaven while at the same time be sure of doing enough for earning that heaven. That's self contradictory scenario, right there.
      Secondly, Heaven (and there are levels of it which one would be rewarded with in accordance with one's good deeds) is not the result of death but rather it is the result of good deeds (done for the sake of God) in this world. Whereas, Death is connected with closing of that opportunity to do more good deeds in this world and thereby reaching to further perfection.

      @A K
      My point is, as per your (and Sadhguru's) understanding (of the concept of Heaven), that guy Mr MJ Akbar never really believed in Heaven, otherwise he would have been dead long ago (by suicide or whatever).
      So, if he is still believing firmly in Heaven and also alive (and have urge to live) then revise your understanding of concept of heaven that he believes in.

This was normal for them, whereas in the rest of the world it is illegal. A true religion unifies everyone's moral compass with what is permissible by way of the ruler, in this case, God.
