In order for him to attain the height of 3.8 meters and beyond on that stunt, there must be an adequately large trampoline present on its landing area after he starts walking on the wall for his safety of falling.
second dudes physics were more on point to elevate that was insane the save he had he could've been hurt didn't waste a turn
Man I didn't know this was a thing! Way more interesting (and less terrifying) than Olympic pole jump. Only caveat is that the editing and the music over the talking and the background music in general was really intrusive

The bar is way to close to the wall. They lose to much momentum by having to sort of duck as they come close to the bar. Their shoulders hit the bar as they start the jump but they arch about a foot higher. Moving the pole 1 foot or so back would push for better heights

the should make wall assisted high jump part of athletics, and remove the backflip part(unless the jumper itself feels like he/she can cover more hight with a flip).

The wall from the second competition is evidently angled more than the first, and that makes the pole farther away from it. So you can tell why Felix was hitting his head there. And why were the previous record holders not there?? Is there no regulation?? Why is the angle and material of the wall, as well as the type of pole, run-up mat material, and pole-holding posts not consistent?
Because the Guinness World Records are a joke.
