In a captivating week from July 15-19, 2024 on General Hospital, viewers witness Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) playing with fire and Ava Jerome (Maura West) making dangerous moves, pushing Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) medication to extreme levels, aiming for a rapid spiral out of control.

Absolutely. I can’t stand that the writers did this to one of the best and most solid couples on GH! It’s so out of character for Willow, and Drew is now the guy who’s thinking with his other head instead of being the smart guy the character’s been written to be until this. The politician who isn’t respecting marital vows or relationships with his partners. Messy and stupid… writers, you blew it with this storyline! Why does Michael have to be the character whose women always end up hurting him?
Disgusting. And now we’ll have to listen for weeks and weeks to Willow and Drew whispering about how the kiss was a mistake and can’t happen again.

The way Willow has been acting around Drew in his office and when he announced he was running for Congress she was all over him who was sickening. Willow was acting way too sweet and praising Drew, I knew something was going to happen between the two of them

Drew and willow cross the line
You mean they will end up sleeping together. The show has had so many examples of characters sleeping with father and son and mother and daughter that Drew and Willow being in-laws is no big shocker. Ava slept with Sonny and his son Morgan. Sam slept with Sonny and his son Dante. Sonny slept with Alexis and her daughter Sam. In-laws sleeping with one another should it get to that point and we all know it will won't be that shocking. BUT it will make for juicy soap opera drama and that's what a lot of people love to see and something that is missing from GH right now.

Daddy issues. Some women go for daddy types. It's not as uncommon as you think. That may very well be surfacing with Willow. The show alone has had so many characters with daddy issues it's hard to keep count.

I am triggered by the tampering with medication plot and seriously am disgusted by the Drew and Willow scenes

Messy, soapy drama isn't boring. This storyline has the potential to blow up big time for several characters and destroy the marriage of Willow and Michael, destroy Drew's political ambitions, set Willow on a collison course with Carly when Carly finds out and of course a explosive confrontation between Willow and Nina when Willow finds out that Drew and Nina had been sleeping together. Lots of drama ahead.

Fraco was likable, for a while Esme was likeable, Valentine was likeable. Willow and Drew never stoop to their level.

Cameron is in his mid 50s and Kaitlyn is in her late 20s. Their characters are probably about the same. He is way too old for her.

There are plenty of villains and scandals on GH. They don't need to destroy a character by having them do something that is very uncharacteristic. Don't do it to Willow. Drew is already tainted.
What villains? Since Victor and Esme are off the show there hasn't been any villains on the show.

I'm hoping that Morgan says something while Sonny is hallucinating from not getting his medication. That he tells Sonny that Ava has done the same thing to him.

The one thing I hate when a secret is revealed that couple then find each other and talk about how no one can find out. In the hospital, at the park, at the coffee shop, in the other room of the same house. Soapers are pretty careless. I like that Sasha saw. But Drew and willow are still gonna hash it out. Deep derp
Willow is displaying some shocking behavior 🧐. So her boredom has reduced her to lusting after Drew 😮. She has a great marriage and Family I feel like she has stooped lower than Nina. Especially kissing her Husband’s Uncle of all people. I really want Mac and Cody to reconcile. Why doesn’t anyone notice how weird Sonny is behaving 🤔. Ava is really horrible. Sonny may have done things but he doesn’t deserve this.

The problem with soaps is that they make the characters constantly talk about the secret openly for everyone to hear. Please stop talking about it and move on. I have something to say about Sam. Sam used to be one of my favorite characters and they have turned her into such a negative person. She now has a problem with Drew running for office and the affect it will have on Scout. She is getting on my nerves.

Yay for any story line involving Cody/Sasha/Mack/Felicia/Maxie! We need a happy, feel-good story! Nay for the Willow/Drew/Nina story. Drew is becoming such a player. I used to really like him, but not anymore. As for Willow, she cheated on Chase, so it doesn’t surprise me that she’d cheat on Michael. Whatever happens, those writers better not put Sasha back with Michael, instead of Cody.

Jordan has storylines, but she also had Drew, Brick, and Portia’s brother all hitting on her (Drew is gonna go there, we can tell, just like we knew about him and Willow, we saw it coming).
PS…I highly protested Giovanni for Trina…but NO MORE…can’t wait for their relationship to blossom! They will be just as cute of a couple as she and Spencer were, and GIO can serenade her on his rockin’ violin! HE’S AWESOME!
Ava told the paramacist to bring Sonny's med to zero yesterday. Sasha went Maxie's and told her and her mom that she did the DNA switch for Cody and that she has known for mos.that Cody is Max's son.

Maurice Bernard has enough power at GH to tell them to shut that storyline down with that medication. I am so bothered by that he is bipolar in his everyday life and he should know better than to let them do that storyline.

Willow needs to go back to teaching school. The whole nurse thing was not believable. I have no idea what she is supposed to be working on with Drew. I think the writers just don't know what to do with the character.
They will probably put Jagger to work at the police department after the FBI finds out he is working on a personal grudge about Karen in Port Charles and he gets fired.

Great "Hump-Day" GH episode. Ava Jerome and the Pharmacist are now in cahoots re: Sonny Corenthos' med dosage. Not a good idea when a custody battle over their daughter is just starting.
This is where Sonny is going to go ballistic in front of everyone at this Court Hearing and end up being taken to Ferncliff. We are in for some real drama. We may even need some kleenex.
