    Use a 50% Lacquer to 50% Lacquer Thinner Mix (that should get you nice results).

    320 grit sanding sponges work wonders for final sanding on lacquer. 100%Truth is RIGHT! A respirator with the appropriate cartridges is absolutely necessary when working with lacquer. The big box stores carry them, $30-$50. That is a real bargain compared to permanent lung or brain damage.

    That dusk mask is not providing you any protection, especially from the lacquer fumes. You need a respirator with the right cartridges. But it's your health so do whatever you want.

    Wow. you should try spending some money on a respirator that will save your life. That paper thing won't save you.

  • @drewberrett2511
    @drewberrett2511 Před 4 lety +5

    I think I lost a few brain cells just watching you spray that without a respirator! Of all things to spray without protection, lacquer is the worst, and that little paper mask does nothing!

    Please!! Get a real mask. You need a respirator for working with lacquer, especially indoors. Lacquer fumes are extremely dangerous.

    Nice finish, you need a better mask though. That ones not going to do any justice, ya need something for organic/inorganic vapors.
