The game doesn't do a good enough job explaining manufacturing. So I decided to make a video explaining what it is, why to do it, where to do it, and how to do it. I explain embedded systems contacts and print deals. I cover manufacturing consoles, joysticks, and phones.

thanks love it
Thanks for the video
Thank you, i have about 200hours in software Inc and have tried hardware before, never really understood it and never maid profit, this really helped, and very easy to understand and nice editing! :D
You're a king bro this was exactly what I needed
Hey guys! I absolutely love this game but i never managed to understand the manufacturing part. Thank u so much for this amazing tutorial !!!
Awesome! Many thanks!
I did just that and it printed for 50 millions in 2 months and I bankrupted I’m so mad, the last save with my money back is 5 year away (in game time).
Thanks! You give a good overview of the process and various use cases. It confirms my suspicion that it is indeed a bit more convoluted and capital intensive to get started with than software. That said, once you know what you’re doing it looks pretty straight forward.
I'm interested in a zero hire start where you make money by completing embedded systems contracts.
@@Moonninja420 That definitely sounds interesting. Take enough loans to put down the assembly lines, and then do contracts and occasionally hire a maintenance crew to keep things working?
Yes
@@Moonninja420 I've just started a "Deals Inc" playthrough that takes out a 1M loan to build a factory that prints software, and has a (for now) small team that does support to supplement my income. It's very hard to make enough profit with printing in 1980 to pay for all your overhead, so support helps balance out my loan costs.
I imagine embedded contracts will similarly need 24/7 security, but can do without the reception. I'm curious if you can get it to be profitable.
I was hoping your tutorial would help. I have a console line going and its working but all my 4 assemblers are at 0% effectiveness. I can tell they are missing components but I have no idea why because the lines feed into them from the printers. So frusterating. Thanks for the work you put in on these.
Nice
I built assembly lines for console and controller. The "per month" values aren't zero, but for some reason nothing is getting produced. Do I need a special staff or something?
Can we do hardware production with a project manager? I tried, but there are many problems.
