2 cool details ab the symbiote suits. 1. They don’t get damaged since they are living things and heal themselves. 2. The black webs while swinging aren’t webs, they’re tendrils that reach out and grab the buildings then tighten and wrap around eachother to look like a web
Something that you may didn't notice is that when you web down enemies from web lines there is an effect on the web due to gravity and the weight of the enemies
So immersive

I love that when you swing with a symbiote suit, it’s not webs that come out. You can actually see the tendrils wrap around eachother when he shoots one out. Pause.

I would like to add that when gliding, Spider-men will duck their heads if they are fly too close to a ceiling or through small gaps.

the last detail confirms that they actually took inspiration from WEB OF SHADOWS because the whole 3rd act proves it without any hesitation and they did actually a good job
and i will not compare it because WEB OF SHADOWS suffered the time constrains which was a obvious ACTIVISION shenenigans at that time like 2008 something when it came out which sucks because it has a lot of potential all shaba game studio needs is time but ACTIVISION doesn't care which lead them to shut down shaba game studio RIP but here it's good INSOMNIAC get the time and they decided to paid homage to those awesome people.
I just want to comment on the detail of being able to see the webbed up enemies in cut scenes, and seeing them in proximity of the room to where you webbed them up.
That's one of those little details that you never stop to think how much it adds to the immersion. How many games have you played where you have these dynamic fights where you blew shit up and really did well- and then the next cutscene is in a clean room where nothing bad happened.
Insomniac really maximized the feeling of accomplishment you get from winning a fight where you're very outnumbered and out gunned but allowing you to kind of simmer in that chaotic environment after the confrontation.
I also noticed that through dialogue, you can kind of imagine how chaotic it must feel to BE SpiderMan through little things that Peter and Miles sometimes mutter to themselves after a fight. For example, little post fight comments from Miles sound more panicked and pressured, as opposed to Peter's who seem more calm and numbed or experienced.
Miles might kind of mutter to himself "its over... its over.." and sound kind of panicked. Or sometimes Miles says "I hope the next fight is a little smaller, to even things out". He's bargaining now, because there is a weight to the fight. SOMEONE has to throw the punches or lift a 500LBS brute. We always think about how cool it is that Spiderman is strong but small and wiry and fast, and surely it's all fun and games, right? Except the dude has to get punched, and thrown, and blown up, and slammed, and kicked, and stabbed, and struggle to lift things, and dodge this and that and everything PLUS a kitchen sink. No one ever thinks of how much work it all is and how nerve wracking and exhausting it must be.
But PETER sometimes just sighs and says "I'm so tired". Another time, I heard him mutter something to himself about paying some bill or making some repair at home 😂😂 what detail. Peter is a veteran and has been in every ugly situation since he started it as a kid. He's seen it all and it'd take a hell of a lot to shock him. He's borderline bored with the absurdity of the crimes he faces lol. He's the weather beaten vet, while Miles is the nervous rookie. Too funny.
One of the more interesting details is when harry walks up the stairs and steps on each step from what I noticed.Would be cool to show it of as it's pretty neat.

@@maleprincess62 Never said it was cool,i said it was interesting that they animated the entire thing unlike other games where it's a preset animation which kind of ruins the immersion if you wanna focus on the story.
@@luckyb9883 It's definitely a cool detail because 90% of games will let the legs clip through the ground since its very hard to animate that.

hey, a new detail to a next video, in venom vs kraven boss fight, when kraven cut off the venom tongue, in mid of fight you can see the tongue moving in the floor, its a nice detail
Hey here is a little detail the shoes peter parker wears is exactly the same or similar kind ben10 wears in alien force a nice parody considering both the voice actor are same person
I don’t think the bike really counts as a detail, more like a feature that was mistakenly left in game since it disappears when you get a certain distance from its spawn point

We need that Web of Shadows toggle! No one wants to equip the symbiote from the menu.
While not the same, you can always just use any suit but the Symbiote, and when you go into Surge, your suit changes to that of the Symbiote.

Which game you think gonna be game of the year?
It's probably gonna be between Baldurs Gate 3, Tears of the Kingdom and Spider-Man.
From what I've heard about Baldur Gate that may very well win but I've never played it so can't comment on it.
Personally Spider-Man 2 is my GOTY, although Alan Wake 2 may prove worthy :)

Web of shadows handled a lot of things better.
The red and black suit combat switch. The fact that the whole city was being taken over and several heroes were doing something about it, even S.H.I.E.L.D, not just Spider-Man
It even explained the absence of some of them. But in Spider-Man 2, this near apocalyptic event wasn't enough to get the attention of any other hero on the planet? Not even S.H.I.E.L.D? WTF?
